Stylist scissors were unsanitary, brushes in zip lock bags, used same black coat to cover me which had a bunch of hair on it,used combs were not sitting in solution. This specific Stylist wiped all the hair from previous client on a towel and proceeded to use the same scissors to cut my hair with hair from previous client. VERY UNSANITARY. After that experience I came home scrubbed my head since I seen all the hair from her scissors. It would be different if she had said give me a moment while I clean my station and sanitize my products. She also kept Bruning me with her blow dryer and not once apologized she just said thats what the blow dryer does it dries hair. My hair is crooked but just something I have to deal with since she kept cutting away Fantastic it was not and I can not believe the place is unsanitary

I think a lot depends on the stylist you get. My husband, son and I have see Cassie at this location for quite a number of years and have always been pleased with our cuts and my color when I have it done there. My advice to anyone having a color process done is to ask the stylist to walk you through the process, as well as ask the stylist how long she has been doing color and how often she/he does what you want done. Also, I would not make my first visit to any salon one for anything other than a cut, as not all stylists are highly experienced in the complexities of color and highlighting, and at that time would consult with the stylist and if not comfortable with her/his experience level and color knowledge, then by all means ask if there is another stylist who would better serve your needs.

Destroyed my hair... I went in for a simple cut and highlight. The lady first colored the bottom of my hair before beginning the foiling process... I was there for 5 hours. My hair is much more blond than I wanted it, I had to color it because she colored the bottom and since I wear my hair up alot it wouldnt have matched the rest of my head, the crown of my head is strawberry blond which despite to attempts to correct she couldnt, and she tried to charge me for all the corrections she had to make to my head. The only thing she got right was the cut but I cant even style it the way I use to becuase my hair is so damaged from all the processing. I was there for over 5 hours. I am NEVER going back and would NOT suggest anyone else go there. Not worth your time or money what so ever.

The first time I went there the lady cutting my hair took forever but that was not the biggest problem,the fact that she seemed cocky was,to make matters worst after she finished and went to the car my brother told me that I had a few spots with long hair so I had to go back in and get it fixed. The second (and last time) time there was new people and the lady cutting my hair seemed like she was in a bad mood,she had a long face,kept dropping everything and just had a bad aura plus I told her I wanted a fade and she just cut the bottom of the back of my head without a guard but did not even blended it.Do yourself a favor and do not visit this place. The second ladys name is selena,beware of her and another reviewer mentioned her aswell.

Be warned, most of the stylists there will disregard what you say. I asked the stylists to trim a bit more off the back of my head because my hair tends to stand straight up even with product. Her response was that it shouldnt matter since it was towards the back of my head. When i said it would make me feel better she yelled, "FINE!" and proceeded to just cut chunks off the back of my hair. I was left with uneven hair throughout the entire back of my head. I was so shocked at how unprofessional the entire experience was that i just simply paid and left. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this catastrophe of a shop.

I took my 12 year old daughter in to get a simple haircut. Unfortunately, there are long pieces left. I have had to trim on it 3 times. My daughter asked for the cut "to frame her face" and you can see the choppy cuts in her hair. The salon was not busy at all and the other workers were very loud carrying on their own inappropriate conversations. This was our first and last visit to Fantastic Sams. Proceed with caution, especially with Selena!!

So I went in and this one girl, Selena, started cutting my hair... I didnt know what I wanted but I told her, "I want what I have, but shorter." As a stylist, you should be able to just see and tell, but NOPE! She cut one side shorter than the other and then STORMED OUT, DID NOT COME BACK and someone else had to finish my hair!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT STORE EVER AGAIN AND I do not recommend it to anyone. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!

Whenever I am in need of a haircut, this is the only place in town that I will go to! I always receive a good (if not great) trim, and the staff is very friendly (they will talk with you, but they do not pry into your business). I was seen to by Erica Brown in my most recent visit (earlier today), and she was very pleasant, not to mention knowledgeable in her field (cosmetology).

Absolutely terrible haircut. Then I was charged 10$ more than it actually cost and charged twice on "accident". I have called a handful of times to get my money back but I continue to receive the same response that "it will only take a few days". Its been two weeks now. Horrible customer service seemed irritated with everything. Stay away from here.

I used to color my own hair....almost every two weeks a diffrent color...when I finally came to my sences I had a damaged mess! Shelli J. Saved my hair... finally my hair is on its way back to good health and a very natural color.... I owe the fact that I still have hair on my head to her and the whole fantastic sams crew! Thanks!

This place is garbage. I made an appointment for my little sister to get her hair done she was supposed to get little twists on the top of her head and curls in the back but when she got home almost all of the curls where flat and they charged us $55 for that! Never going there again. Im surprised theyre still in business.

I just walked in without an appointment and got paired with Lacy Lykins. I had a little past shoulder-length hair, and she gave me a beautiful bob. My hair is fine and extremely straight, but she managed to give me a cut that added a lot of body. Thanks, Miss Lacy!

A piece of advice when looking for a new person to cut your hair: Walk into the salon and just WATCH. You can tell who has the most talent and style by just observing. That being said, ask for Vercell here, she can cut mens hair the best.

My Family and I just got our hair cut by Kayley Pelt. She always does a great job, taking her time and paying close attention to detail! And she always does it with a smile! We love the Fantastic Sams Salon.
