I tried this salon after years with a known buck head stylist just for a change. The environment is nice and the stylist, Anne, did a good job although it was just as pricey as my former stylist. I made a six week out appointment and confirmed two days ahead with their online service. Then I receive a call from their front desk asking me to come in at 9:45 instead of my noon appointment. I told her that I could not make it at 9:45 - she put me on hold and came back to "inform" me that the earliest my appointment could be moved to was 10am. I asked her why I was being asked to change my appointment time 2 hours ahead of a 6 week confirmed appointment that was made for my schedule. With attitude, her answer was "Im just doing my job. Anne told me to call you and tell you this.". Amazing. I told her that if this was her job, she was not very good at it. No one, including Anne, ever called me back. If I had been told there was an emergency and I had been asked if I could reschedule for a time that worked for me, there would have been no problem. I would like to think my review does something to improve customer service in the future.

Stephanie is a great stylist.She cuts and colors my hair and I just love her to death. She always looks very hip as well. Her cut, style and color on her own hair is great too. A lot of times stylists dont look so great themselves, but Stephanie always does. And she has a great sense of fashion too. Not to mention a sweet and professional demeanor. I always hate having to find a new stylist. But Im extremely happy with Stephanie and recommend her highly for cut or color. I havent had her do extensions yet, but I hear she is fantastic with that too. That will be next on my list.

I was a Cutting Room client (saw several different stylists with mixed results) and decided to try the new incarnation when the salon changed to Vivid. Cyrus is good, I was pretty happy with the 2 cuts he gave me but not convinced he was my guy. I wanted to try another stylist b/c I liked the salon, they booked me with Richie, and I got one of the best haircuts of my life. He sat down, looked me straight in the eyes, asked me what I wanted, told me what he thought, and went to work. Nothing makes you feel better than a good haircut. Im going back in 2 days and I cannot wait!

Well, thanks to some of the reviews I had been reading online, I was really nervous about getting my hair done in Atlanta. I have just moved here from Salt Lake City and had a hairstylist there for more than 15 years. So I figured I might have a nightmare story like some of the people posting. Fortunately, Cyrus was awesome! He gave me a great cut and color just in time for a large family in-law gathering. It looked great and I was really relieved. If you can get Cyrus he will make sure your hair looks great.

Not will to work with me on rescheduling my appointment and rude. Ive been going there for a few years and I will not be going back. I drove over an hour to get there and I was a little late due to an accident. The receptionist told me they could no longer get in that day at all and wasnt will to work with me to reschedule me. I get they have other appointments and I was willing to wait. It was my only day off that I could do it and it was for a special occasion that coming weekend.

You know when you see a really fantastic hair cut and color on someone and you think you should ask them where they got it? Well, thats how I found Vivid....at a fundraiser fun/walk and I love Vivid! The atmosphere is great, and they have top notch products, if you want to purchase while there. Amanda is just adorable but not only that, shes talented! Havent tried any color there yet, but not afraid to do so. Two haircuts and will keep going back!

just moved to Atlanta. went in for a simple bang trim. asked for them to be longer than my eyebrows and got them cut almost mid-forehead. DEVASTATING! I went in on a recommendation and saw Akila... I think she knew she messed up, but any hair stylist should be able to trim bangs. To make it worse, she insulted my old stylist ...

Client service is excellent. Environment is comfortable. Personnel go out of their way to listen to your wants/needs. I have seen two of the stylists there and have been very pleased with the outcome from both. Anything from a simple cut to oh my goodness, help me, color dilemmas, this is your place.

Julianne is a great hairdresser. Shes accommodating, a good conversationalist, has a good sense of style and good with scissors. Vivids a very welcoming place. None of the attitudes that Ive encountered at other hair salons (and theyre dog friendly!)

Absolutely great -- went potluck and got an appointment with Ann needed a bit edgier cut for new job -- She assessed me and gave me the perfect cut. Ive even been able to recreate it afterwards -- very talented. I WILL be back.

Great set of stylists who work late into the evening to accommodate work schedules. Regular hours run to 7:30pm appointments. Vivid also communicates well with text messages for confirmations and reminders.

Never returning here again. They made a scheduling error and ran out of time to style my hair. I left with dripping wet hair and hair dye all over my neck and forehead because they were rushed. Awful.

Hes amazing with styling --.he can take long hair, short hair, unruly hair, depressed hair, you name it - and can turn it into TV-ready hair. And he has a charming personality to boot.
