Hi all. I went to Van Michael salon as a friend recommended. I have medium brown hair with medium thickness and was wanting to achieve an ombre look. I specifically asked the stylist if this particular look was achievable and said I am very flexible and would be OK with an array of ombres. She said the first one I wanted was actually most achievable. With her confidence in this particular ombre I decided to go ahead and get it done. 1 hour later the foils were coming out. A toner was applied...and my hair was a horrible ashe blonde ALL OVER. She took me back to the hair washing station yet to apply another toner. This time the toner reverted my hair almost back my to my natural color. I went from a medium brown to an ugly mousey light brown. This was NOT even close to what I was going for. NOT even in the ballpark. I left the salon looking worse than when I came in. My hair looks horrible....as nobody really wants to achieve a light brown all over color. I also wasted 3 hours of My life. Lastly, what is most annoying is I went out of my way to ask her what was achievable and she completely missed the mark. So now I am left with a very undesirable hair color and damage all over my head due to a full foil. Would not recommend anyone go here unless seeing a very experienced stylist. I wish I could post pictures of before and after along with my desired look. .

Had another great visit to Van Michaels in East Cobb. When I walked in and saw 4 or 5 others also checking-in I thought it would take a few minutes but no, someone came around very quickly and had me checked-in. Austin is a great technician and knows exactly how to get my unruly hair to be styled! I would highly recommend the salon to anyone.

Neighbors suggested using Jeffrey to cut my hair. As a birthday treat to myself, I tried & was less then impressed as he rushed me thru the haircut ending up by just wetting my bangs & combing them to the side!!! As I am on a "limited income" paying for this Mess was a waste of money & then I cant do anything with my hair now, UGH

This phone number is incorrect and for VM Avalon. I called it and booked thinking it was East Cobb. When I showed up they did try to find an appt for me but no one was available (they were nice). Avalon however would not take me late (25 mins) even though I asked if I could leave without the blow dry.
