Here is what happened to me - you be the judge! Serviceman was in my house for 15 minutes to change a socket. Charged me $65 for a Service Call + $85 for Labor Cost + $18 for a new Socket = $168 Total. When I met with the owner to question this outrageous cost, he replied "Thats what I charge." I will NEVER do business with these people again! They re-define the term "rip-off." This business owner should be ashamed of himself. I can go to New York City and be treated more fairly by Union electricians!!

Great job installing a new ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling living room. Was not an easy job. One electrican quoted $250 - $300 over the phone, then said $632 after looking at the job. Byrd Electric said it would be between $250 - $300 over the phone, then did the job for $262. 2.5 hours of labor; only charged me 2.0 hours. Very pleased with the work. They quickly came out and did a nice, professional job. Highly recommend. Will only use them in the future for all electrical needs.

We needed some circuits moved to/from our generator panel. Frank, the technician called before he came, was prompt and professional. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and why he was doing it. My wife and I are very satisfied with his work and the cost. I would definitely use Byrd Electric again.
