I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!! Please read this entire experience to understand how you will be treated in this salon. My hair WAS long, down to my belt line on my pants. I spent the last 6-8 months growing it out as I want long layered hair. I asked the girl, Sammie, to TRIM my hair about an inch but no more than 2 inches. I also requested that I get LONG layers and I specifically asked NOT to have my layers only be at the bottom 3 inches of my hair (which weighs my hair down). What do I get!??! Exactly the opposite!!!! She kept cutting and cutting and eventually CHOPPED off 7-9 inches and my hair is now barely touching my bra line in the back and just 3 inches past my shoulders in the front. REALLY!?!?! MY HAIR IG GONE!!!!! Shorter than what I started with 8 months ago! I can’t remember the last time I was SO upset about my hair. I saw this Salon on a Groupon Ad and decided to go get my hair cut since they had good reviews and I wanted to go somewhere that I knew I would get the long layer trim/haircut that I was looking for. At first glance, I was excited that it was a professional looking salon and that I would finally find a salon I could stick with. I was given to a young lady who was going to be cutting my hair, so I let her know exactly what I wanted and as she cut my hair I got to know her a little. Come to find out that she is 20 years old, has only had her hair license since August of 2012, and has been working at the salon since December of 2013. You would think that for purpose of placing a Groupon Ad to attract new customers, you would not give a new client your newest greenhorn hair stylist, but a more experienced professional. Once I called to speak to the manager the let them know that I was extremely unhappy with my experience, she assured me that I will get a refund of my money and the owner herself will be calling me back the next day. That following day, I did NOT receive a call and when I called them, I was told that the manager was out and so was the owner. I called back later on in the day once again and was told the same song and dance, so I decided to speak to Sammie herself and express my disappointment in the results. There was a good 30 seconds of silence and I hear background conversation happening and she returned to tell me, “I’m sorry about that but the manager/owner will have to call you back when they are available, have a great day, thanks, BYE” and….HUNG UP! Did this really just happen!??! Yep! NEVER going back!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

Well this was the most awful experience I have ever had at a salon and not the service, but by the treatment of the owner, it started by me purchasing a groupon, before I bought it, I made the appointment with the owner, I wanted to assure the appointment, I work 2 jobs and I had not had a cut in a year, and my appt. was for Tuesday, I am 15 minutes early and I am in the parking lot looking for the salon when I received a call from the receptionist telling me that the hair dresser would be late seeing me I asked, how much late she said about an hour , I said I am already here in the parking lot thats along time to wait I said, she then put me on hold and said, oh maybe 20 minute wait..I said, Thats ok., 20 mins. passed the hair dresser spoke to me as to how fabulous she was going to leave me, I did not mind the wait...after 1 hour had passed , I am given the phone, the RUTHLESS OWNER cancels my appt..making me at fault for being there. There was not even an apology... The way that she treated me on the phone was uncalled for..Just because I bought a groupon does not make me less of a customer, I would never go to your Salon, even if it was free....you are a TOTAL B_ _ _ _ !!!!!!!!!! no wonder why you dont have customers!!! You need the HELP of groupon , because on your own you wont make it, especially the way you treat customers...learn to have humility, and learn to say, I AM SORRY!!!, YOU MADE MY APPOINTMENT, you overbooked it ...it was your FAULT!!!!!

If you think you deserve the best then go to Kera Vie. They are absolutely the best around. I moved to this area 12 years ago. Being a licensed hairstylist I have very high expectations. I was very disappointed in the salons I tried for the first few years I was here.. I could not find one that was consistent or used best practices. Whether it is a Brazilian Keratin treatment, color, a cut or style, you will not only look beautiful your hair will be left in great condition. In fact, Tammy at Kera Vie is the only person I have let cut my hair other than myself! She is an artist at cuts and color. All of the stylists at Kera Vie are excellent. They listen to what you want. Warning! Yo will leave feeling beautiful and you will get many compliments! You deserve the best! Go to Kera Vie. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I recently decided to find a hairdresser closer to my home, and came across this salon in my neighborhood.I made an appointment and had Lindsay give me a medium haircut. I had a picture to give her an idea of what I was looking for. She did an excellent job! I was extremely satisfied with my new haircut, it looks great and feels light (I had long hair). I must say, before deciding to go, I read through the reviews and was a bit reluctant to make an appointment. I had the same hairdresser for over 5 years but she worked at a salon a bit far from me and I wanted to find something closer. I am very happy to have taken the risk, and will definitely go see Lindsay for my trims and new haircuts in the future. She was very receptive to my instructions and requests and just genuinely pleasant in general.

Holly A. is a genius at color, is friendly, is genuinely committed to satisfying the client, and, amazingly, stays remarkably on-schedule. Her talent with color is enough that I would stay with her regardless.... the fact that shes such a pleasant person to be with is a huge added bonus. I understand that the salon itself has a single owner and and that all of the stylists there are independent contractors that schedule their appointments through the umbrella of Kera Vie Salon. Im blonde, 40 something, and Holly keeps my hair looking natural and gorgeous. I honestly get compliments several times a week on my hair - and the credit goes entirely to Holly.

I have been going to Kera Vie for a while now and I couldnt be happier. Jennifer is my stylist and she does an amazing job on my hair. I have extremely thick, long curly hair and she helps me keep it looking amazing. Kera Vie is a comfortable salon to go to. Anyone looking for a great stylist...Jennifer is the one to see. I have been chased out of places in the past that were a little to affected but at Kera Vie I was made to feel comfortable right away and now that I am a regular I am made to feel like a part of the family. So glad I have found such a great salon.
