We contacted Roto-Rooter because the pilot light went out on our water heater and we could not get it to relight. Our regular service provider was not available until late Monday, and it being Sunday am, we wanted to get someone out as soon as possible. We were told our window was from 12-4, around 2pm the service called and said our tech was running behind and he would be later than scheduled. We received another call at 4:30, saying our tech was finishing up a job and then heading our way. He did not show up until after 6pm, more than two hours after our window. The tech was friendly and did apologize for being so late and immediately looked at our water heater. Unfortunately, it was not a simple fix for the water heater, the ignitor box had worn out and wasnt regulating gas to the water heater. He said he could fix it that night, but the charge would be around $1400. We thanked him for his time, paid him the $125 service charge, but said we are going to get a second opinion with our regular service provider that next day. I mean, you can buy a brand new tankless water heater for less than that amount. Our service provider came out yesterday and quoted us $350 to fix the entire box with a new ignitor. Overall, our first experience with Roto-Rooter was not the best and I will hesitate to call them again for any time of plumping service.

This is my second time working with Roto-Rooter and the service is A+. Both times have been under emergency situations and I am so grateful that there is a superior team in my area who is ready and available to assist, no matter what time of the day/night and without adding extra cost for “outside of business hours” assessment and services. The second and most recent need was in the evening (8.17.16) when my main level toilet was overflowing due to a clogged sewer line pipe, also causing a flooded basement. A technician (Dale S) was assigned and provided outstanding service for removing the blockage. He worked diligently from (approximately) 10:30P-1:30A and it was not an easy task as the blockage appeared to be almost at street level. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. Later that morning, Todd Jones came to my home to perform a camera line inspection which showed that the blockage was caused by tree roots on my property. As with Dale, Todd was very knowledgeable and courteous and provided outstanding service. From the initial contact with customer service, to dispatch (Gladys), to the technician (Dale S.), to the inspector Todd Jones), the services provided were exceptional and I thank you! Keep up the great work!

I had a problem with my sewage ejector pump in my basement and rang Roto-Rooter, they dispatched Georgi to come to our assistance. Within five mins of arriving he had the entire system in bits and the offending pump in the garden for a hose down. We examined it together and having seen the issue first hand and the probability of it failing again I asked him if he could replace it. He had a replacement on board and completed the job quickly and without any fuss or bother. In addition to the work he did, he cleaned up the site and provided me with a one year warranty. Being new to the area and not having any experience of these things I chose Roto-Rooter as I have seen their vans in the area. They provide a 24/7 free estimate service with no call out fees. The Agent who took my booking gave me a time estimate and then called me back when Georgi was an hour or so away. They did a first class job and I personally have no problem in recommending them highly for any job. thank you for a great, efficient and first class service Ganesh

I recently closed on HUD property in the area and needed the plumbing system to be checked and fixed. I am really glad I contacted Roto-Rooter for help! Bruce was the plumber who helped me and he got right to work as soon as he got there. A lot of the problems were broken pipes that got frozen over the winter, but he was able to fix all of them! He also saved me big time where there was a possibility of having to redo the water line into the property, but he took his time to double check the piping and it seems that the previous owner rigged something up to have a pipe go all the way into the backyard underground for his/her garden. Bruce also took the time to educate me on some things such as hooking up the dishwasher and what to do during winter months. He also took the time to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter! I will definitely be calling them again if something ever comes up.

We called Roto Rooter around 9:45pm on Saturday evening for a clogged toilet line (which was overflowing) and they arrived within the promised 30-45 minute window. Davil, our technician (tech. #3407) was very friendly and explained exactly what would need to be done and told us the price upfront. I told him I had a coupon that gave us $40 off and he said he would apply that to the total cost. He worked as quickly as he could to get everything set up to run the snake and also worked quickly to clear the clog (which also contained some tree roots) which was about 50 ft. from the house. He also explained another option for further investigation of a possible future issue with tree roots (we declined at the time), but we appreciated the information given. He also assured us that we had a 6 month warranty on the work done. Would not hesitate to call them again, but sure hope we dont have to!

I have had a couple issues at my home that I needed repaired and I have called on Roto-Rooter to provide these services. Raymond "Ray" Diaz was my plumber and he has always showed professional knowledge in any of the jobs that he was tasked to do at my home. Mr. Diaz not only did an excellent job with fixing my problem he also explained to me what he was doing while he was doing it. Mr. Diaz also showed not only was he professional but he was also personable. Mr. Diaz was easy to talk to and had no problem with answering questions and giving advice that we did use to help towards eliminating any future problems that may occur. I believe Roto-Rooter is an excellent company and Mr. Diaz is a valuable asset to your company and also a valuable asset to us, your customers! Thank you for your dependability Mr. Diaz and thank you for employing him Roto-Rooter!!

I called them and they had someone there the very same day. Rahmel Willis was the person that was sent. He called and followed up with me to see exactly what the problem was before he came to my home. The part he brought to was longer than the one that was removed - so he asked it I was ok with that since the hot water heater was in a cramped space. He even asked again to make sure and then I told him I would prefer the smaller valve. He did not hesitate to go out and buy a new one to replace the one he had just installed. Rahmel was really amazing and so friendly and helpful! While there he was very personable and did not mind me asking questions about my hot water heater.. I would definitely call and ask for him again for any plumbing needs!
