Found my 4 year old laying in the middle of the playground on a 99 degree day at the Lawrenceville location and had the teacher who was "supervising" (sitting on a picnic bench in the shade) tell me she was playing dead. She was completely disoriented, her breathing was labored and she could barely stand. Got her inside and she threw up everywhere and had a fever of 103. The director called me later that evening trying to vouch for the teacher. I have yet to reach/receive a call back from the administrative office which I have left messages with and this happened almost a week ago. My daughter would be filthy when I picked her up.... Marker all over her... (Mind you I know kids are gonna get dirty but this was a bit extreme) clearly no one was watching her for her to color all over her entire body and her clothes. Another day prior to this incident I came to pick her up and they were on the playground and her face was covered in sand that had been thrown on her at the sand pit they have for the kids to dig in. They do not pay attention. Had to rush in and rinse her face/eyes/nose. Anytime I would ask her PreK teacher how she was doing in class I would get a shoulder shrug and a "shes fine" not exactly the feedback I want in regards to my child preparing for kindergarten. 1st week of school and the entire class was sick and there was already a case of lice in a toddler room. The walls are bland and I was told by one of the teachers there that this was their new policy because "bright walls and decorations distract kids from learning" I tried and tried to make the best of it but glory to God He took my baby out of there And had me to show up when I did to find her laid out on the playground. Horrific feeling. They need major MAJOR improvement.

BEWARE!!!! This is the worst facility ever! So many horrible things to list. However, here are a few: The teachers (Im aware that all of them may not be the same, but they ARE a representation of Sheltering Arms Learning Center) are liars, and deceiving people. Ms Keshia Hillman to single out, is a liar and i would not advise anyone to trust there dog in her care. They look out for their own best interest and selfishly sacrifices the childrens own just to call themselves employed. The children freely beats on other children with only, always a verbal deflection of the act, leaving the victimized child vulnerable to more abuse. If you want your child and or children to be cared for, educated, positively influenced and nourished while youre at work laboring to survive........this center/facility is NOT the place for your child. I was told by Sherrie(whatever her name is) that the children (boy and girl) are encouraged to engage in "housekeeping" this is a center of activity for the children. They dress up as princesses, officers, or superheroes. Yes your little boy, can be at school cross dressing for 30 minutes a day! They dont believe in redirecting a child from the confusion of wanting to put on dresses while being a boy. This is very problematic indeed. They claim this facility is "family oriented" but the truth is far from it. Truth always shows up, one way or the other, you can try and hide your true intentions but the truth, given time ALWAYS shine. Stay far away from this shack in the woods facility.

Thats crazy the review that is below me (calling out the teacher Ms Hillman) is accurate I also gave the review two below this one where I said I never got any feedback from how she was doing or what she was doing in class from her teachers and thats exactly who I was talking about , the "teacher" Hillman. and now another parent has expressed the same problem with the same teacher I hope you all take this seriously and get new people in charge of these children because thats just ridiculous she is terrible!!! Would shrug her shoulders anytime I asked her for feedback on my daughter . Maam if you tolerate children instead of teaching and engaging them this is not the job for you please keep it moving !!!!! Sorry ass.
