Despite the several issues I have had with a particular teacher at this school, I was very optimistic and gave this school and the teacher the benefit of the doubt. I enjoyed the school as did my child most of the time. I addressed the concerns I had with the teacher as well as director several times. (ie: feeding issues, changing diapers, diaper rashes, my child things being misplaced, the interaction w this teacher and the kids, and the list goes on) They assured me every time things would be addressed and the teacher would be monitored more closely. In my heart i know that this particular teacher is not right to work w kids so young as my child is 1 1/2, or whether she is fit to work w children at all. Not to mention she got very disrespectful, belligerent, and rude in front of all the kids to the point I felt very threatened and the director did not intervene or correct her until after i asked her to. I have witnessed the teachers mistreatment of children several times because i work very closely to this location. My observations were confirmed after speaking to other parents who had the same concerns and observations as me. All of my issues were mainly with this particular teacher but what was alarming was once my concerns were stated to both the owner and the assistant director, they condoned and supported this behavior and again told me they would monitor her more closely. At this time I knew it was best for me to withdraw my child from this program because I feared for the safety of my child. Im not writing this to put this school down but as a warning to anyone considering placing there child in this school please consider a few things, they are extremely short staffed, so they are willing to deal with this type of behavior from their teachers. The tuition here is significantly higher than other daycare facilities but the standard of care is not present and not required to be present. Lastly anyone ANYONE who has a child in the 1-2 year old class or considering putting their child in this class, PLEASE DONT DO IT! Despite the problems i have had, more importantly is the treatment and safety of those children. Other parents are withdrawing from this school because of this teacher, I would encourage anyone to beware. My hopes are that this reaches the owner and director and eventually gets solved before any more kids are mistreated, neglected, and eventually hurt.

This place is TERRIBLE. For both employees and parents in my opinion. The director, Kathleen can not even control her own child, much less the other children in the center. The owner is the biggest snob I have ever met in my life, talk about someone with a 10 foot pole up their rectum. I worked there for three weeks and never had a good feeling about the way things were run, I worked full time and was promised 10 dollars an hour, I found a new job for various reasons which I will mention in a moment. I let them know and I left. About a week and a half to two weeks after I left i went to pick up my paycheck for the three weeks i worked there. First off, they cut my hours by about 10, and on top of that, the 10 dollars an hour they promised me, magically turned into 7.25 an hour. When I tried to contact them about this mishap (I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking it was a mistake), they ignored multiple emails and phone calls and finally informed me that they basically did not ever tell me 10 dollars an hour and so I guess I must have pulled that number out of my butt. I have contacted the corporate office in hopes of this being resolved seeing as I need the money because my fiance and I do have bills and we are also expecting a child. Now, as for why I left and why you should NEVER take your children to this facility, I had two year olds and legally in Georgia, I can not be left with more than 10 two year olds at a time and every day, when my lead teacher left at 5, I was left over ratio, with more than 12 children. This causes a bigger potential for accidents and injury to your children. The air was NEVER cold, it was always about 80 degrees in my room and the children were constantly sweating. They are short staffed, for now obvious reasons, meaning that the rooms that the children should be in for their age is not usually where the children end up which is another cause for injury when kids are placed in a room with other kids much bigger and older than them. Point being, DO NOT, I repeat, NEVER bring your kids here or work here, they are shady, careless, money hungry, liars.

I pulled my daughter after 5 1/2 months. And then after giving my 2 week notice they terminated my daughter a week early b/c i was "BAD MOUTHING THE SCHOOL" Everything that i said to other parents & posted on face book was FACTS! In 6 months, my daughter had her hair cut by another child, they werent consistent with the teachers in her class, she has regressed with potty training since she started at the school, some mornings she had one, then another. I had talked to mgmt several times... but apparently i was the PROBLEM parent. On the state decal website, it shows that someone witness a 1 year old drinking someone else’s bottle that had breast milk!! Another parent was lied to about how many times they were changing diapers, one parent took pull ups away completely and her son was coming home with pull-ups over his underwear. Another parent said her daughter had a FULL braid pulled from her scalp and no explanation.

The Goddard School has been decent so far. With the tuition for the school being so high, I did expect a lot from the school I will just list out the pros and cons for me. Pros: - Very friendly staff - Clean facility - AWESOME toddler playground - The school does not hound you for the tuition if you pay out for the month Cons: - Expensive in comparison to services provided - Neither breakfast or lunch is provided - Diapers and wipes are not provided - The school is either completely closed or closing early for the majority of holidays (closed for a week after Christmas) - You have to pay the full tuition even if your child does not attend at all for the week - You have to pay the full tuition even when the daycare is closed

Very Good School. Both my kids started here when they were 3 months. All the teachers starting from Bunnies to Owls are friendly, helpful, caring and nurturing. It is a tough decision to put such young babies in a group setting, however we have seen our kids thrive at the Goddard School in Snellville. Ms. Kim and Ms. Renee work with the babies to help them meet their milestones and Ms. JoAnne and Ms. Cal do an excellent job preparing the kids for Kindergarten. The children begin learning at an early age. The teachers will modify areas of focus depending of each child’s strengths and areas that require improvements. The school helps develop the kids social and academic skills.

I was hesitant to take my twin girls to this school after reading the previous review. However ,upon moving to Georgia five months ago aftet extensive research we decided on Goddard of Snellville. My girls are three and I have been very impressed and de stressed about them during the day while attending Goddard in Snellville. We have a 13 year old also and have experienced the horrid occurrences at preschools .Therefore ,I am very particular when choosing care for our girls. Thus far we have had a very good experience academically , physically and socially . The entire staff is nice and open to communication.
