WORST haircut Ive ever had since I had short hair (three years). Two inches left on right side and scalped on the left side. I asked for a refund and was told "I dont give refunds but I will correct it." Seriously? Like I would let her anywhere near me with scissors again. I went to Van Michael Salon in Highlands and paid $75 to fix the cut. It was beautiful (wish I could post the photos here so that people can see just how bad it was). I liked the relaxer a lot but I cant go to people who dont stand behind their work. The only reason she even gets a "two" is for the relaxer.

This salon is a hidden treasure. I did a Google search for natural hair salons near me. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance. I was greeted warmly by the stylists when I walked in and felt comfortable immediately. KENYA, is a hair genius. I asked her to cut my natural hair into a cute, funky tapered style, and she did exactly that. She listened to what I said and gave me what I want. The end result: I LOVE IT! Shes nice, has a great attitude & shes very professional. Ive finally found a stylist I can trust close to home.
