A technician named Jon from snappy services came and he was very friendly and professional. He is through, knowledgeable, and quick to resolve the problem. Ours is a house from 70s and our cealing right below the tub was leaking. He initially looked at the ceiling, then proceeded to see the tub , and within seconds figured that it was just a sealing issue at the drain, he quoted us the book price of $222 and then said he would give a first timers discount of $50, and also offered to put in a new tub shoe set in , for the price. Later after sealing, he realized that the new tub shoe set was not going to fit the 70s small sized outlet hole.and he told it will be very hard to find the old kind in stores and he wouldnt be able to go hunting for it , especially for such a small job. So at this point he was just going to put back our old drain top without the broken nor new tub shoe. So basically he had just putting some putty under our drain washer. When we argued saying that it 170$ is pretty expensive for a 2 minute job, to keep us happy and to give a feel good experience, he told he will just charge the trip charge of $49. And made sure none of us had a hard feeling. In some ways it worked out for us too, as it resolved our problem of leaking even though we dont have a tub shoe to block the water if needed. But for the price charged it worked for us . We had also asked him to look at our entire plumbing downstairs, as another plumber had suggested that we change our 70s cast iron plumbing as early as possible to avoid an unexpected leakage. Jon looked at the plumbing downstairs and said that it was not an urgency and explained us not to mess with it unless it is necessary and starts to show any leakage or any problem. It was so nice and professional of him to give us such a honest and professional opinion without misguiding us like the other plumber.

I wanted a quote for replacing an old fuse box with a modern circuit breaker panel and also updating my outlets from old 2 prong to correctly-grounded 3 prong style. They called me to ask if they could rescheduled the meeting time for their own convenience, I obliged. They told me that he would be there in 30 minutes. I arrived in 30 minutes and then waited for another hour before he showed. I was expecting the quote to be high for all of the re-wiring to get the grounds in the outlets, and I was correct: a few hundred short of $10K. What really bugged me is that he told me that he wasnt even going to put in the ground wire, just replace with GFCI outlets on some of the outlets. Even though I told him I wasnt agreeing to anything that day, just getting the quote, he still put a lot of pressure on me to sign the work order. He informed me of the huge money savings I would get by not having to pay the $50 quote fee if I agreed to pay for the work right then and there. He told me that Comcast would not be able to install "the internet" without proper grounding, and they may report me. This seems even more bizarre in hindsight since he already told me that he wasnt even going to install ground wires into the outlets (and yes the house does have grounding rods and is properly grounded at the mains). In probably the most hilarious attempt to sell me something I have ever encountered, he told me that if I go ahead and sign on to their yearly $120 warranty service, I would not have to pay the $50 quote fee. I dont have any of their services to even warrant, and that would cost me more than $50.

A few months ago, the Cherokee County Water and Sewer Authority sent out letters in my neighborhood that they were going to replace our meters. An upgrade they said. They encouraged everyone to make sure there was a Pressure Relief valve on our water heaters. As this was like a foreign language to me, I contacted Snappy Home Services for advise and help. I had a serviceman scheduled to arrive this morning at 10 am. At about 9 am, a representative from Snappy called to let me know he was on his way to my house. Promptly at 10 am, a very nice young man, Eric, was at my front door. He assessed the situation and told me that he would have to attach the relief valve under the house. He thoughtfully explained the process of how the valve worked. Water goes this way and pressure builds up and blah blah. But he knew his business and that was a good feeling. This being an older house he soon realized that the pipes were not the correct size for attachment. A trip to town and he was back and got the job done. While under the house, he noticed a wet area and informed me that I had a rusted pipe from my kitchen drain. He explained to me the damages and future damages that could result if not repaired. We discussed price, which seemed reasonable. Guess I have a future date with Snappy. For an older woman, the entire experience was pleasant, no surprises and a very respectful young man. Thanks Snappy Home Services.

Our A/C went out in the middle of summer, on a Saturday, and my kids and 38 week pregnant wife were miserable. After speaking with a couple companies, we were given some ridiculous costs, but Snappy seemed to be the most reasonable. After getting a quick and courteous response from Adam (person who answered the phone) on that Saturday, they immediately dispatched a tech to look at my unit. Within an hour John arrived and did a thorough inspection on my unit and we got the problem, solution, and we did it for an amazing price. John was amazing and extremely courteous, explaining everything to me to make sure I am understanding the situation. After working other HVAC companies in the past, I will only use Snappy, with hopes of getting John dispatched over to us. To top it off, while John was doing his thorough check of my A/C he noticed a leak in my water heater. Thank goodness he saw it, as it was in the brink on blowing out and flooding my entire basement. We called other companies for quotes and again Snappy made the most sense. They sent Nick, who was amazing, and he replaced my water heater for an unbelievable price. Overall, I am extremely upset that my appliances were messed up, but glad that we found Snappy, as I feel that we found a new partner for our HVAC and plumbing needs! Do yourself a favor and call Snappy! Highly recommend them!

Called several places. Snappy could be here within an hour. Guy showed up, Looked at system, first thing he said was it needed to be replaced. Yeah, I knew that. Started with some freon, and pressure would never hold above 70. Two nights I have slept in 80 degree weather, and heat. Hotels are out for I have dogs who cant be out of their safety zone. The service guy was nice, but having family own a HVAC company in NC I know a little. The price was $590, but a deal was made for around $400. No fixes, No nothing. Almost $400 out the window. I called another HVAC contractor the next day, and the owner came out within 30 mins, and NO $69 service call. Looked at system, and gave me quotes. He will be installing new system today or tomorrow morning. Snappy might be good in some things they do, but in my case they were a total overpriced rip off. If you read the reviews I am not the only one who has had bad experiences. The prices they charge does not match the service they pretend to provide. I truly believe this company is out to get every dime they can fix or no fix. I would shop around, and then shop some more. ~FAILED~
