Contacted ElectricMasters thru HomeAdvisor. I explained over the phone the manufacturer and model # of my existing and the replacing fan. Appointment time was set and the provider arrived at the said time. He took one look at the fan to be installed and had the deer in the headlights look. In his 13 yrs of a electrician he said he has never seen a bathroom fan that was continuous (low speed) and had a switch (high speed). So....... with that he decides to give me a quote of $439.17 to install my fan. I asked why such a high price? I was told that I had a "high priced fan that requires a high priced installation". ElectricMasters did not install my fan nor will I call ElectricMasters for any of my electrical needs.

Hired them to review our house electrical system last year since we had a problem with a circuit. Was VERY VERY happy with their 2 person crew and the price we paid. So when we bought a whole house surge protector, I automatically called them for professional installation. Their estimate was exorbitant, in my opinion, about $400 an hour, according to others time estimates. Person who called to explain said price included a "finders fee", yet there was no finder, only myself. And they sure didnt offer the fee to me.

First, I attempted to contact ElectricMasters via the submission form on their website. I never heard anything back. After a couple of days, I called to make an appointment for about a week later. It was not until the morning of the appointment that I received a call to tell me that ElectricMasters does not do work in downtown Cincinnati. That is their right to decide, but by not being upfront about it, it cost me significant time and hassle in getting my electrical issue addressed.

They are looking to up charge DO NOT USE. Technician called to confirm appointment to change a dryer outlet from 3 Prong to 4 prong. I asked if the wire from the breaker to the outlet was not 4 wires can he bring a cord for to change the dryer plug. The technician started to lecture me on electrical engineering. I guess the manual from the company is wrong as it clearly shows you how to complete the wire swap.

Hired several times now for new house work and for repairs/ upgrades on old house work. Each time my clients and I were very pleased with the work, knowledge, price, and quickness they were in and out. They are professional and make sure they keep the job site clean. I will continue to use them as they keep my clients happy and in return makes my job easier being able to rely on quality work.

Jack D. came out promptly, efficiently diagnosed my electrical problem and took the time to track it down and fix it- this involved tracing wiring to my attic on an 85 degree Saturday afternoon! Very professional and knowledgeable - he explained what he was doing and why. I am thrilled and completely satisfied.

Terrible experience. Had a main breaker fail and was basically gouged for $554 to simply kill the power and replace the breaker. Serious integrity issues obviously. Will never contact for service again. Cannot believe this guy is in business! DO NOT ADVISE SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
