If i could give no stars, I would. I was happy with this gym until today... (black card member for about 9 mos). The front desk manager, Kimberley, came over to me, my husband and cousin and called us out by FULL NAMES and accused us of "outside training" because my cousin helped correct my husband on improperly using a machine. (note: my husband does not workout as much as my cousin and I, so hes not the most fluid person on gym equipment). She then tried to argue with us, and we told her we need to take this aside and discuss privately (not right there in the middle of the gym). We asked her what was the problem, and apparently my cousin correcting my husband was a big problem... So at this gym, if you are improperly using a machine, well, good luck to you, because if anyone tries to help correct someone on that, it constitutes "outside training" and well... they cant have that in their "judgement free zone" lolol that is such a crock, because all they do is judge you. if you know something about how to work out, save it, youll get judged as an "outside trainer." if you even look remotely muscular, hide it, you probably wont get a membership here because you dont fit their profile. I cant say the same for their other locations, since we have been able to workout with no issues, but this one i can tell you definitely judges. Needless to say, we cancelled on the spot today - no one needs to be talked to that way - or judged. #OurPlanet

This PF deserves less than one star.I should have read other reviews before joining.They average at about a 2 out of 5. And its not for the gym itself like cleanliness or lack of equipment.Its for the staff and especially the manager.Shes rude,mean,and a liar.I canceled my membership and got an email with a statement that says everything is 0.00$ but was charged a fee AFTER I cancelled.I called my bank and them and I came to a conclusion that my bank didnt recognize them on the 17th(when they take their money every month) and ended up giving them the money on the 24th.And neither the gym or the bank notified me.So,after I canceled they charged me a late fee.Like seriously ?! I called the corporate office twice and they gave me a case number but havent done anything.And its been almost a month. I referred to the manager as a liar because as I explained to the corporate office what happened in detail,he told me that she lied and Ive been given false information. Im so happy to go back to Lifetime.I pay sooooo much more every month but I get great service from A to Z.And not to mention the staff are wonderful not only the Alpharetta location but all other locations.

Customer service is TERRIBLE. Been a member for about a year on auto-pay. Took the family in on Wednesday 1/18/2017 and when we badged in, some arrogant 18 year old kid says "Umm, theres a problem with your account, its past due by 1 day, and were only doing bank draft now so I need a voided check." We didnt get ANY kind of notice about a problem. We didnt come the the gym with a checkbook, so I politely suggested "Hey, cant we resolve this later?" The kid behind the counter looked at me like I was completely insane for even suggesting something so absurd and insisted that we had to pay or leave. Then today, 1/20/17 I get a text and an email that something is wrong with my billing. Such a poorly run place its ridiculous. I wish there were a manager or owner here who acted like they give a crap, but the place seems to be run by 18 year olds (many of whom Im sure are very polite and nice, but the one I encountered was definitely not.) if you can limit your interaction with the staff to handing them your badge and thats it, youll probably be ok here.

$39 annual membership fee? I joined the gym because the ads said $10 a month. When I signed up I had to pay a $29 sign up fee... Ok.. I was like fine. I get it. $10 is cheap so they want to make sure people are serious about the long term commitment. I was not aware of a $39 surprise fee! I called the gym and the staff was very nice. I mentioned a fee and they knew right away about what I was taking about. Because they know everyone else was upset and surprised by this fee. Im considering quitting my membership and never going here again.. But guess what?? Theres a fee to do that too. That is just crooked and dishonest. What happened to businesses that do what they say and avoid deception. "Oh well In our contract you agreed.." Dont give me that. You know you are being deceptive. Thats why you dont advertise the fees along side the $10 a month membership!! Let me guess *fees may apply* in 2 pt font. Unacceptable

Buyer beware. I couldnt be more disappointed with the staff and manager. When I went in to cancel my account, I was specifically told by the employee doing the cancellation that I would not be charged the following month. Then a week later I not only find out that I got charged for the next month, I was also told that I had not actually cancelled my account even though I followed the proper steps to cancel and the employee wrote my name on the cancellation list. Unfortunately the manager doesnt understand that when their employees lie or mislead their customers, they need to take responsibility and not escalate and agitate the situation by doubling down on their lies. They have Unbelievable need for process improvement and customer service training.

Planet Fitness was a wonderful gym experience ... except for the fact that they dont tell you about a $58 buyout fee should you wish to cancel from their "no-contract" membership. Pretty shady way to handle your customers Planet Fitness. I left due to my company opening a gym that was cheaper, and by no means will I be there forever. When I leave though, I will definitely not be coming back to Planet Fitness. Youve lost a customer for life and I will definitely be spreading the word.

No not happy on my first visit itself. When I registered, I was asked to select a size of my free T-Shirt which I was supposed to get on my first visit. I had selected small size. However, on my first visit I was given a XL T-shirt :( When I asked for a small size, I was told that we carry only XL size t-shirts. I had to return it to them as it was of no use to me. Whats the use of providing an out-of-size "FREE" T-Shirt which cannot be used :(:(

Blackcard member...Been vising the Alpharetta, GA location for the past 5 months (Closer to work)...I go almost every day, and they still make me sign a form with my information every day after they have scanned my card which has my information. Today, I was told, as a black card member, I am only allowed to visit a non-home gym location 10 times a month. Thats what I get for trying to workout everyday...:-(

Just moved from Fl, and needed a new gym to visit until I find a permanent residence. I visited this gym twice. The staff are nice and the facility is as well. Its a little different from my home gym in Eustis, Fl; but its really nice. I like the fact that its in a really good location as well. I will be using the MiltonPlanet Fitness until I find a home gym.
