I had been hearing a lot of noise from what could only be my tires for a few months and assumed that, once I replaced them, it would stop. It didnt. So, I had brand new tires and no improvement when it came to the sound that made it almost impossible to carry on a conversation with any passenger while riding down the road. In my search for a local auto shop, I came across McWilliams and noticed they had great reviews. I called and explained the problem to Robert, who said I could bring it in the next day and they would take a look at it for no charge. When I arrived, he stopped what he was doing and took a look right away, then referred me to Wayne and Matt who are two of the nicest guys Ive met and extremely helpful. I cant say enough about how well I was treated and they explained the problem to me in my terms, which is not always the case. As a woman with limited knowledge on the subject, I really appreciated this and the level of professionalism mixed with friendliness was perfect. Once Wayne assessed the problem, he explained what was needed and Matt worked up an estimate that was clear cut and fairly priced. They were not pushy at all and did not make me feel as if I had to agree to the service right then. I left feeling relieved to know what the problem was and ended up calling to schedule the appointment for the next day. They ordered the part so it would be there when I arrived to drop the car off, and went above and beyond the call of duty by giving me a ride back to the office so I didnt have to miss work during the repair. The job was finished in a very timely manner and I am extremely happy with the results! I just picked up my car and it is like having a brand new ride. Who knew a bad wheel bearing could cause so much racket? These guys did. Thank you, Robert, Wayne, and Matt for the prompt service, fair price, and amazing overall experience!

Couldnt get my car to pass emissions this year. Initially my code reader kicked back 5 codes. I dropped Dropped $60 worth of parts into the car on my own (including an O2 sensor). I managed to fix all of the codes but one~ the dreaded P1441 code (which can basically be anything). I changed the solenoid and replaced the gas cap but still the code returned. At my wits end (and really needing to pass an emissions test) I took my car to McWilliams. Matt cleared the code & drove the car but couldnt get the check engine light to come back on. Another scan showed everything ready so he took it to a local Speedemissions. It passed! And he only charged me for the emission test. He said to bring it back if it code comes back and hed try to rediagnose the problem. You have no idea how wonderful it is to find someone so helpful and honest! If I cant fix it myself, Im taking it to McWilliams!

I want to praise McWilliams Auto Service in Peachtree City. And say boo to State Farm Insurance. Yesterday truck broke down about 3:30. Tried jumping it, no luck. State Farm couldnt get a tow truck there for 2 hours. McWilliams referred me to Parker Towing. They were there in 25 minutes. Got truck to MCWilliams at 5:45. They were supposed to close at 6. Stayed and put a new starter on. Find me another place that would tackle that 15 minutes before closing! They are great!

Professional, prompt, and fair. Our van was smashed by a Fed Ex truck while visiting Peachtree from out of state. Robert went above and beyond to help me get the repairs done and done well, in time for my family to get back in our van and make the long journey home. So grateful that they were recommended to us.
