My stylist clearly did not understand what balayage is because I went in requesting it and ended up with Christina Aguilera circa 2002 streaky highlights. Not only that, but I also made the appointment for the highlights and a cut, which I really needed, and they wrote the information down wrong and didnt give me a haircut. Their solution was just to tell me to come back in the next week for a haircut, without an apology or any sense that they cared that their mistake was a pretty huge inconvenience to me. $200 for awful highlights and less than warm environment is absolutely ridiculous and not a way to keep customers. If you dont understand what balayage is, ASK what it is Im looking for because what I got was basically the opposite of what I asked for.

Sadly, I will not return either. Spent an hour gathering photos of the same style cut of what I wanted to be clear. Showed them, explained what I did NOT want and got exactly that...what I did not want. So short it can not be repaired or changed by another salon for months. Nice girl but it is 3 inches too short and I look 20 years older not younger...I am sad and self conscious instead of confident ...I guess I will just go back up to Toni and Guy in ATL for a progressive stylish cut in the future...in 4 months when there is actually enough hair to work with again. Lesson well learned...

I would NOT recommend getting your haircut by Megan. Megan does not understand curly hair and had a flippant attitude when I told her I was worried that it was being cut too short. I walked in with hair to the center of my back explaining that I wanted it cut to my shoulder blades and I walked out sobbing with hair above my shoulders. Megan did not apologize and did not offer any advice on how to style it. Megan needs to work on her listening skills and further instruction on how to cut curly hair. I never thought I would leave a spa feeling worse than how I walked in.
