Do not ever take your car here, unless you want to deal with a nightmare! I wish that I could give this place negative stars! Honestly these people need to be put out of business! I took my 99 BMW 328i to be serviced here years ago for an overheating issue. After being charged $700 to replace a thermostat and hose, I get a call about it being ready. As soon as I drive off, the car starts overheating instantly. Went to check coolant level and there was no fluid. Checked the ground for leaks but there was nothing. Called the shop and their response was "We drove the car thoroughly and nothing was wrong with it". Does not make any sense because it was still overheating instantly. I took matters into my own hands, at the age of 17, and bought a thermostat for $70 then took 2 hours out of the day to replace it. After installing and bleeding the system, the car never overheated since. I swore never to return to these scam artists. But it does not end there. Last year my 03 350Z broke down, due to a rod knock, on Roswell Rd. right next to this place. It was convenient at the time to tow it to this shop. Reluctant to give this place another shot I decided to, given the predicament I was in. I was quoted around $3,000-4,000 for an engine swap which matched the range of other shops that I called. After paying the amount of the engine which was $2,250 they began the process. I get a call soon after about my battery dying out; which was weird because it was fairly new. Well when I checked my custom stereo system all my radio stations were changed to country music stations. Playing the radio with a dead engine, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. So they charged me $92.99 for their NAPA brand battery. Few days later I get notified about the spark plugs being bad, another $128.45. On top of that, a new clutch set for $469.57 due to them claiming I was high speed downshifting because of my age. Then I was charged for a cam position sensor for $128.45! This sensor failed a year later and I bought one for $60 at Advance Auto and replaced it myself! After paying $5,284.49 for a used engine swap with a 6 month no labor warranty I was livid. Still doesnt end there. I began having overheating issues, Deja Vu right? Took it back to them and they claimed it was the thermostat, so I had it replaced for a decent price for once. Few days later my car wouldnt heat up like it should and had a check engine light. Got the code read and it stated FAULTY THERMOSTAT. I said forget it and changed it myself since I have experience. Took the thermostat out and felt like a plastic toy compared to the new one I bought. One other thing, seems as though the mechanic smashed the thermostat on the ground and broke the actual thermostat from the housing. In other words, there was just a hole. They tried to scam me again by doing a thermostat delete that made coolant flow continuously which was why my car didnt reach optimal temperature. Covered in grease, I took the old thermostat straight to the guys behind the desk and showed them. Appalled, they offered to replace it again. I told them NO and that I wanted a refund, which they gave me for $250. Ultimately, they gave me some bullshit story about investigating the situation yet they have never contacted me. I am honestly disgusted with this place and the staff. Words cannot describe my hate towards this place. Just three guys behind a desk that look like they could give a crap about customers. Corporate needs to step in and handle these scam artists and this pathetic excuse for a repair shop. These guys are way out of line with their overpriced labor and overcharging for simple parts. The people that leave five star reviews must be family members or were paid. Take notes from the other negative reviews because I had to learn my lesson the hard way.

I first have to say I do not usually write reviews. I usually try to give businesses that do what is expected the benefit of the doubt. The main reason I am write this review is because I would not like another customer to have the same experience I have had. So I went to this location to fix a steering wheel issue. I spoke to Eric and I told him that if their shop could find the issue. I dropped off my car on 6/26/17 around 3:30-4:00pm. He stated they would take a look at it latest tomorrow (6/27/17). 6/27/17 he tells me they did not get a chance to look at my car. 6/28/17 they tell me my car is fine there is nothing wrong with it, this is toward their closing time. I am a working class individual so I told them I was unable to get my car due to work. So they told me I could pick it up tomorrow. 6/29/17 Eric states there is some bumping coming from my steering after the technician pulls it out of the parking space. So I ask if they could investigate it since that was the main reason I bought my car to them in the first place. They tell me it is a steering column issue, I get a quote, and ask them to fix it. I get a call on 6/30/17 that they did not get a chance to fix it yet. Saturday 7/1/17 comes along no call, as I stated I work long hours so I do not think about this. The shop is closed Sunday 7/2/17. Monday 7/3/17 9am comes along no call no message. It has been 5-6 days business days. Eric did call me but by that time I was already extremely frustrated with their service. I was already at their shop demanding my vehicle back. I did some research and I did not believe that this repair would take this time frame. Also I was never given a timeline in when the repairs would be done. As a working individual your transportation is a valuable commodity. Eric was apologetic after I was already at the shop. He even had the audacity to say that they were busy July 4th weekend. That makes sense but I had dropped off my car on the 6/26/17 Monday. He offered the excuse that the people at their shop did not call me on Saturday 7/1/17. He was quick to ask for payment though. He offered a free oil change as a form of compensation. In my experience, I will NOT ever take my vehicle or recommend this establishment to the people I know for the unprofessional service in the front of the shop. As for the repairs, I can not comment on the service because I have only driven the vehicle for a short period of time. I believe the technicians have done their job. Disclaimer: I have uploaded two photos but it only displays one. The second photo is the picture of the oil change compensation in which Eric signed and would provide.

What ever you do, do not go to Mccoullough Napa Auto Care on Roswell Rd to get your car done! I took my VW Beetle here in March and didnt get my car back until the middle of May. Rod is just rude and truly unprofessional. This is a family owned location, so they feel they can charge what they want and treat customers how they want. Rod is a flat out liar and called me five times stating my car was ready and when I would attempt to pick it up, he would tell me each time they had something more to fix. He had me waiting two weeks just for lug nuts that were in my trunk the entire time, obviously I had paid for the new ones they got. He told me on the phone he had to charge me more because they had to fix my O2 sensor, but when I recieved the itemized statement there was no O2 sensor added, but I still had to pay more. When I asked about it, Rod said he did not tell me that and I was a liar, then walked off to another room, after arguing with me. The crazy part is he told my guy friend the exact same thing. Long terrible experience short because there is just too much to type, I paid $4,000 and my car is still not fixed, even though it was on my invoice and when I asked for my money back, I was told by his brother they would just fix it. They already had plenty of time to do what they charged and I paid in advance. The sad part is for $4,000 I did not have any engine, transmission, or electrical work done. They did not do a diagnostic and the brother who is the owner admitted they never drove my car, even though I informed Rod it was insured and I had a new plate. No one asked me to provide it so they could drive it. After all of that my window doesnt work and I have a non-working air conditoner. I called Napa corporate located here in Atlanta, was told they would help me after I explained everything for a full 13:43, I was informed by Dexter a woman from reginal was going to call me to help me that day. I never recieved a call. I called today to be told they actually called the shop, instead of calling me and told me there is nothing they could do to help me and I need to go back to Mccoullough Napa auto care to resolve my issues. Shame on you Napa auto for not following up with me. I realize Napa and its vendors have very poor customer service all the way around. Now I have to file a lawsuit because I refuse to step foot on that property again and I refuse to speak further with anyone connected to Napa.
