Your review I can beat all of your stories - - 2010-10-05 Not only is this a bad location but one particular employee is a liar and a cheat. I send care packages to the troops routinely and always seemed to get the same clerk. It took me a few months to figure out that she was passive aggressively trying to stop me from sending care packages ( it is more work for her). After waiting in line for 20 minutes to get the troop boxes she told me I was limited to 3 boxes, although I knew I needed at least 6. I had to go back another day to get more, and wait 20 more minutes. I asked for my 3 boxes and this different clerk looked at me funny and said "there is not limit to the number of boxes you can get". I mail a lot of care packages and always seemed to get the same lady. After about 3 mailings I noticed that I was being charged more and more each time, I asked her why and her response was "The rates have gone up". It did not occur to me that she was not telling me the truth. The next time I happened to get a different clerk, and low and behold the price was the original price of 10.70 a box. I asked her what was up, I thought the rates had been raised, she again looked at me funny and said no they have not. I did not complain but make sure I do not go to the liars window anymore. I am thinking of telling her supervisor but felt bad about getting her in trouble. I wonder how many more people she has chosen to raise the rates on?

Very mixed feelings. Good and Bad. Pros: Good customer service when it comes to visit or phone inquiries. Courteous and takes care of customers fairly well. Cons: Ive had multiple experiences with mailmen leaving note without even ringing the bell. There was someone in the house all day since I knew package was about to arrive. Out of many packages Ive ordered, more than half of the packages that were bigger than my hand were required for me to pick up at the store. I just called in today to ask about a package. Whether its there and when it might be delivered. The person I spoke to asked for the tracking number and kindly told me about everything and estimated time to be delivered. I only ask that you change or fix your phone. It was really difficult to hear you with all of that buzzing noise on the phone =[

This post offices customer service has been the worst. I have used PO Box for other cities and never had one issue. This post office delivered my package to another Box number twice and I kept receiving mails for another PO box. I did not receive several tax documents for my tax return and have been charged late fees for my bills because I did not receive some bills. I can go on and on with my list. The worst part is the management. I made an official complaint to the head of Post Office and she promised me that she would put a countermeasure to it. The very next day I received a magazine for another PO box. I lost money for my package because the shipper refuse to pay me the refund due to the fact it was showing delivered for the tracking record. Do not use this post office if you have a choice.

I dont know who these people are giving this place 4 and 5 stars but Ive lived in Suwane for 7 years and everyone in that post office is rude and condescending. Its just like nearly every other government offices... they dont care about customer service or even being a kind human being...because theyre not held accountable. Ive decided Ill pay the extra money to go somewhere that has a friendly smile and a real reason to help you. I stood in line while I listened to the lady at that was working the desk where you stand in line forever...talk to an Asian lady very smugly and condescendingly, I could barely keep my mouth shut. I dont know any other way to describe it except they have some superiority-complex-culture gking on in there.

The Driver that delivers my mail is the worst carrier that I have ever experienced: drives on the lawn, drops letters, forgets to pick up, and when I get packages SHE walks them "close" to the door and just drops them - several items have been broken, even though the package is marked FRAGILE. The worst part is not the Driver but the administration; specifically her boss. I have complained on several occasions and even provided photos. This Driver continues on my route and continues her bad ways. This is just a classic example of why the USPS gets a bad name; this could be solved by simply firing her; why they dont, I have no idea ! Shameful situation really but the blame and the resolution lies solely on the carriers boss ;-(

I was so surprised to read the bad reviews about this post office, because I had the opposite experience. Lanette, who handles the PO boxes, couldnt have been more accommodating. She explained the extra steps I needed to go through because I wasnt a Georgia resident yet and even called me several times after I returned to Florida to prepare for my move, so that I would be sure to have the PO box in time. She went way above and beyond what I expected. I cant speak to the counter service, because I didnt use it. But one of the people working the counter did inquire whether I needed help when I was standing off to the side and out of the regular line while Lanette got me the paperwork I needed.

Idk how USPS employees work as far as delivering mails because this has been numerous of times that were getting confidential and private court documents for other residents with the same street name w/ address number 524 delivered to our house at 554. Last time I sent out high end jewelry to have it cleaned, but in return, it was delivered to 544. I filed a complaint as the delivery guy said it was his mistake but wants me to walk down to 544 and retrieve my own mail. WTF! I tried to get a job at USPS myself and theres several training courses that goes over about attention to details...whatever happen to that?! I can understand once or twice but 10xs and more? Ridiculous...

Worst customer service EVER by Margaret Vann! Called inquiring about a package (left in the overnight drop box) that was delivered to the location without the contents to see if there was some sort of lost and found if the package had somehow come open in the weekend overnight. The worker said I was accusing HER of stealing the package. Would not give me her name or managers name. She needs to be fired! Not sure how she turned that around….and not sure why she was so rude??? She hung up the phone on me three times, refusing to give me her name, so I had to drive to the post office to find out who she was. Unbelievable. The rest of the staff was helpful.

i live less than a mile from this particular location (suwanee, ga) and unfortunately have to use it often. the attitudes of the people that work there are generally pretty bad and the speed with which they do their work is consistently deplorable. i visited the norcross, ga branch earlier this week and the difference was stunning! the employees at that particular branch had much greater dispositions and it showed in their efficiency and expedience. the USPS is still the cheapest way to send a package, but unfortunately at the suwanee, ga branch itll almost always be an unpleasant experience.
