The Avondale Estates Post Office has to be the BEST Post Office in the world. The staff there know me by name, and always give me the warmest welcome--and all other patrons as well. Russell at the counter is precious. We are so lucky to have him. But the others are excellent as well, and it is always a SAD day when one of our Postal Staff retires. Please convey my thanks to Russell. I also want to thank all Letter Carriers. They have a most difficult job working in all kinds of weather and having to read poor penmanship. Plus, the time constrains on Postal Workers are very difficult, and my heart and thanks goes out to all of you. THANK YOU--all of you.

It seemed like he was the only one there, and even though it was busy, and in the second part of the day, he was absolutely cheerful, and willing to assist everybody. He is a true example of what every USPS employee should be like. I will be visiting this post office again.

One of my favorite post offices to visit. While it is a smaller post office, the staff is friendly and they work hard to keep the line moving quickly. Would highly recommend that you visit this post office if you are in the area. You wont be disappointed.

I went in right before closing and there was a big line when I walked in. Even under those difficult circumstances, I got timely and friendly service. I may have set a new personal record for fastest service time in a government office ever.
