From the moment I sat down to discuss what I was looking the achieve; I felt an immediate personality road block. Im open to the latest trends, and I keep my hair in an up-to-date short style. My request was for simple, natural, warm highlights to accent my current cut. Subsequently, what I was given was shocking. The last time I checked; fluroescent red/purple was not a natural color. One side was heavy with it, while the other side was bare. I work in PR, so there is no way that I could show up at work the next morning looking like a clown. I abruptly stood up and left once I saw what was done to my hair. Gayla was quite abrasive and unfriendly. I went home and dyed my hair back to all over brown. This was definitely a huge mistake, and I will not recommend this salon or operator to anyone. Go at your own risk. Malene G.

If you are looking for a stylist who takes time to understand what you would like to do with your hair, or a stylist that will be able to do ANYTHING you want done to your hair, or if you are just looking to have a glass of wine and make a great friend while your hair gets deep conditioned, GAYLA is your girl. She is up to date on the latest techniques and she really makes you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. I got a cut and an ombre from her and I can say that I will not be looking to go any where else until she shuts her doors. Everything was amazing she melted the colors in my hair so perfectly and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Check her out if you havent been to see her. She offers online booking and its so convenient.

I have been going to Gayla for a few months now. My first visit was for a color correction and she was wonderful! She described exactly what needed to be done and while I was a bit skeptical at first, it turned out great! I also took a picture of the cut I wanted and she was able to provide exactly what I was looking for. At my last visit I wanted to add an additional color of highlights. She listened to what I wanted and found the perfect color! I have never been more pleased with my color and the product she uses. The color does not fade between appointments. I moved to GA 2 years ago and was nervous about finding a new hair stylist. I loved mine back home and didnt know if I would ever find anyone to trust with my hair and my familys hair. Well, I got a groupon 2 years ago and went in for a haircut and loved it! I knew then, I wouldnt have to go anywhere else. Gayla listens to what you want and will tell you if it will look bad! Which is great, she has saved me from some bad hair decisions! My whole family of 7 sees Gayla and we love our hair each time we go. She is so friendly and a great stylist. Not only is she my hair stylist, she is now a great friend!

My family and I love Gayla. She is professional yet personable with everyone from our 5 year old to my husband. The kids cuts have been better than anything we got done in Illinois before we moved here. As far as Mommys hair, Gayla uses Framesi hair color, which is extremely gentle and practically odorless because of the stricter standards in Europe; its not organic, but it passes a higher environmental standard than in the U.S. and thats important. Ive been extremely satisfied with coverage, and her prices are reasonable compared to other higher end salons.

From the beginning of your visit till the end with Gayla, youll receive outstanding service! She only uses Framesi products on your hair which holds your color better and longer than other products. Her prices are very reasonable! It has taken me awhile to find someone who can / will cut my hair the way I want it and she does a phenomenal job of it too! A week doesnt go by without receiving a compliment on how well cut my hair is. Youll leave there with the best hair cut ever!!!

Gayla is awesome! She took my curly hair and made is smooth and restored the shine to my hair. In addition corrected some damage that medication had done to my hair, all with no chemical smells and it only took 2 hours. Not only that it has lasted 3 months! Gayla was also able to correct some of my gold undertones that I have been struggling with that other salons have not been able to get under control.

Gayla is fantastic! Its nice to have finally found a hairstylist who leaves me satisfied after every single visit. My hair always looks great and she does exactly what I ask for. She offers a lot of discount opportunities through coupons and contests through Facebook, even though her prices are fair anyway. Gayla is also very personable and each visit is pleasant and full of laughs. I highly recommend her!

I love going to Gaylas Salon! Ive been using her for several years and she never disappoints (& Im pretty hard to please). She is incredibly personable and very funny on top of being a talented hair dresser. During my first handful of visits I only had her cut my hair, but more recently I decided to have her put in partial foil highlights for the summer and I couldnt be more happy with the results.

I went to Hair by Gayla for 2 years while living in Woodstock GA. She is one of the best hair stylists I have ever had. My first time there, I brought in a picture of what I wanted to do. She duplicated it perfectly. She even created a color just for me and I loved it. If you are ever in the Woodstock GA location, I would highly recommend making an appointment with Gayla!
