I recommend to everyone that I know or that gives me a compliment on my hair, to definitely go to JYL CRAVEN HAIR DESIGNS, that my personal stylist that I use every time, Shayna, more than raises my expectations and raises the bar every single time I get my hair done. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, except one female worker who was very rude to my friend that I took with me, her first time going there, so it made it an experience she wasnt impressed with as far as how the other stylist talked to our stylist and my friend her self.. I by no means will deduct any stars for the other stylists rudeness, because my stylist which also did my friends hair, more than enough to help try to make the situation better, by moving my friend, and Shayna apologized to us and did an awesomely amazing job on our hair ...every time I love what she does more and more and she does exactly what I envision in my mind, with colors and cut and styling, etc....Thank you Shayna who is unsurpassed as to when it comes to being the Color•Cut•Styling Extraordinaire...I will go to Sharon for Make•up, who is the beauty make•up Queen Magician, especially when everyone who saw my picture once she did my make•up didnt believe it was me...and A HUGE THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF WHO HAS BEEN SO WELCOMING AND THE BEST PLACE IVE BEEN TO THUS FAR IN MY LIFETIME AND WILL CONTINUE AS LONG AS THE SERVICE STAYS AS GOOD AND ACTUALLY JUST GETS BETTER EVERY TIME I GO....THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFULLY AMAZING EXPERIENCE & KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT QUALITY WORK....HOPE TO BE GOING FOR MANY YEARS STILL TO COME IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!

Im not sure why I had such a different experience from all of these reviews, but my husband is insisting I share my story. I went in for a blonde balayage and was quoted $200 during my consultation. Im from a small town so this was already more than Id ever spent, but as someone who doesnt do much coloring to my hair I wanted the best. I came out from my appointment having paid $350 for hair that could not be differentiated from my before picture. I sent a Facebook message and the owner was very kind and asked me to come in and theyd fix it. After my "fixing it" appointment I was charged another $150 because the new stylist had to use different techniques than my initial appointment. I showed the second stylist a picture with purple ends and she said wed have to put a darker brown base on first which I was fine with. I left with black hair. Like dark ridiculous black. At that point I was out $500 and my hair just looked awful. We moved home right after so trying to get it fixed there was not an option. Ive now finished working with my stylist at home and it took her three different tries using three different products to get the permanent black out enough to even make my hair look somewhat normal. She says shes never seen anything like it. Everyone was very nice and friendly, but ultimately I spent $500 for my hair to be dyed black and another $300 back home to try and fix it.

As a previous business owner, theres nothing more important than the customer experience. I began going to Jyl Craven Hair Design about a year ago when we moved to the Atlanta area, and the salon and its owners have exceeded our expectations in every way. Its like a little piece of "big city" in the middle of Canton, and from the second you walk through the door, you are the priority. Aside from the the salon being absolutely beautiful, the stylists are knowledgeable, and in tune to the customers needs and expectations. Only the best products are used, and the scalp massages are amazing. The owners, Jyl and Jason, invest in their stylists with training and leadership classes and many of their stylists have grown up with their company. I always leave the salon feeling my time was well spent with Jyl and her team. A big thanks to Jyl, Jason, Mark, Ansley, and the rest of the staff for making our family feel fabulous!

I am really blown away by my experience here. I had my hair cut by Chelsea, who is a future stylist with the salon. I truely LOVE my cut and style! Chelsea is very attentive and made sure I was comfortable and that my hair was perfect. I really like how she was informative about the different products ahe was using but was not pushy in trying to sell them. Chelsea was supervised by Mark, who had me enthralled with how he communicates and deals with, not only clients, but the future stylists as well. Mark is kind and PURELY knows his craft. I cant thank Chelsea and Mark enough for making me feel SO much better about myself. I was really nervous about coming to this salon because I am not used to that type of wnvironment, but from the moment I stepped through the door I was made to feel welcome. I walked in feeling very blah, but left feeling amazing! :-)

I loved my first visit to Jyl Craven. I found them by watching a youtube video of Holly Chastain styling her hair on FB. She is a friend of a relative of mine. Read the reviews and called up and explained what I was looking for. I lucked up and got an appointment with Jyl. Found out that Holly was her assistant! Unfortunately she was out with surgery but Cody did an awesome job with my shampoo and condition--PS....great neck and head massage!! Found out that Holly is close to being a stylist herself and look forward to hopefully trying her services on my next visit....have nothing but GOOD things to say about Jyl, Cody, & Sharon--who greeted me warmly, Lorraine & Tara who helped me decide which product to take home that day....I dont think anyone there didnt have a smile on their face or something friendly and nice to say.

My fiance came across this salon and encouraged me to look into it because Ive been wanting a change and it has amazing reviews. Now I know why! I always get a little anxious when changing my hair but decided it was time so I made an appointment with Ansley. Best decision ever! The entire staff was welcoming from the moment I entered and within minutes I was greeted by Ansley. I showed her a picture of the kind of style I was going for and she nailed it, all while making me feel very comfortable about my decision. She was so kind as to give me a mini tutorial on how I could achieve the same style at home while she styled my hair after the cut. I cannot say thank you enough, even my fiance was ecstatic with the outcome! I love my new look and will definitely be back and recommending Jyl Craven to friends! Thanks again!

I went to this salon to have them fix a bad highlighting job from another salon. I told my first stylist about my hair being so damaged and broken off from a salon before the last one, I told her that putting a bag on my head and under heat would destroy it. Which is what happened several years ago, at first she did not do that, then she started the same thing, putting a bag on my head and under a dryer to just speed up the process. My hair started breaking off, she told me that wasnt true. I switched to another stylist, I told her about the heat, bleach and bag thing, and that it will ruin my hair! She did the same thing as the first girl. Now my hair is so broken off on the top of my head, its only 2 inches long there now ! I am soo upset!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! They will destroy your hair!!! STAY VERY VERY FAR AWAY!!!
