Wait, there arent enough stars!!! I need at least ten of them to describe my experience with Advanced Lock and Key! First of all, with the phone call, I was put in touch with Justin Akkerman, he let me know that he was turning around on a dime and that he would be to my car in no more than 15 mins, which he promptly was! I saw him drive past in a very colorful Advanced Lock and Key wrapped vehicle which made him easy to spot, before I knew it, though, he was calling my cell phone to find my where abouts, when I looked up from my phone he was right there, all smiles. Have you met Justin Akkerman? There he was, this young man, armed and dangerous, he was a sight to behold, a big smile, car tools in hand and a Santa Hat on his head brimming of cheer! "Maam I will have you in your vehicle in no time flat, did you I tell you we have a $5 off coupon for you to use right away and not only that here are a few more to give to your friends and family." He said with a grin, like he was bringing Christmas. It was a bit cold standing there in the December Drizzle, but Justin made the time fly right by, actually he was right, because it really took no time at all. Have you ever hugged your lock smith guy in the cold? Well I couldnt help it. I was relieved, back inside my warm car, which didnt get a ticket for being parked there for too long. Advanced Lock and key had it under control in less than 30 minutes I was on my way to my next appointment. I cant say enough thanks to Advanced and to Justin Akkerman who made locking my keys in my car, a not so bad experience!

I stopped in right before closing to get my Jeep Wrangler door locks re-keyed or a new key made for locks. I did not expect anyone would work with me before closing time after the service I got from previous locksmiths that day. Christian was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He checked the current locks on the Jeep and in minutes he had 2 keys made in no time at all. Freaky fast! After verifying to make sure the keys work. He realized my driver door lock bar was not working properly. He took the door panel off and fixed the unattached lock bar in about 15 minutes. Which most of the time was spent wrestling to put the panel back on the door. BAM! In 20 minutes and $40 later I had 2 keys made and my driver door lock bar reattached! Way cheaper then I was quoted by their competitors. I had stopped by 5 other shops that day which took my whole afternoon waiting to get waited on (everyone seemed super busy on a Wednesday). After waiting at every shop, I was told no one could not work on it today. They all told me to make an appointment and Id have to leave it with them for over 2 to 4 hours. Also receiving estimates of $40 to $50 a door. I said no thanks and drove directly to Advanced Lock & Key. Christian provided top notch service. This is the place to go when you need a locksmith!!!! I was very impressed. I will go back and Ill recommend my friends or family to use their service if needed..

This guy is amazing. Our worst nightmare happened tonight- our one year old son got locked in the car on a freezing December night. I called 4 companies and kept getting answering machines. In full on panic mode (and about to break the window) I called Advanced Lock and Key. They had a full schedule tonight and wouldnt normally be able to get me in for another hour, however, since the safety of a child was at risk they put the schedule aside and sent someone immediately. Not long after we talked we were able to get the door unlocked (thanks to prayer and my husbands coat hanger invention) by fishing the car keys out. When I called to let them know the news I offered to pay AT LEAST full price for their time since they dropped everything to help us. His response was so warm and polite and, after asking again multiple times to pay him, he simply said "we never charge for child endangerment calls". He said he was just glad our son was safe and not to worry about it. He also is the only one in the area who does BMWs (we have an X5) and if we hadnt got the keys out he would have been our only option. Needless to say we will be making multiple copies of our car keys... this guy is my hero!

Sunday afternoon I was out on a long boarding stroll and came back to my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee to grab something I had had forgotten. I then locked myself out of my Jeep. Now normally on newer vehicles this is impossible ( Key fob failure) So you can imagine how many F bombs I was dropping. I googled my situation & these guys popped up first. This guy & his wife both came to my rescue. He didnt mess with my air bag and using the old school way, picked the drivers door lock in less then a minute. He didnt charge me the weekend rate & actually only charged me $20.00 to get it open. ( & it was his birthday) Wild, there are actually decent people in this world still. I wouldnt answer the phone for work on my birthday! I was really shocked to not get kicked when I was already down. I also told them I didnt have a spare fob so I couldnt call anyone else. He told me he could make me one on the spot & did just that. The dealership wanted $300.00 for a spare fob, and I didnt pay that much(not even close) & now Im set if something like this ever happened again. I hugged these guys before they left, so grateful! AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY! TY to you both!

After getting off work late at night I decided to go get my Dutch Bros fix as well as visit some of my favorite baristas, so I parked my car and went to the window. I did my visiting and got my drink...only to find that when I got back to my car I LOCKED MY KEYS, PHONE, AND SPARE KEY IN MY CAR! After tears and a stranger telling me a locksmith costed him $105, being very frustrated and having no alternative, I borrowed a phone to make the call. The gentleman on the phone was very nice, professional, and told me his technician would be out to help me in 25-30 minutes and relieved my worry of having to shell out some hundred dollar amount. He even said goodbye using my name. The technician, Justin, showed up sooner than expected and did his hero work in about 5 minutes. He was extremely personable and told me even if I locked my keys in my car in Payette that their company would drive all the way from Boise to rescue me! Justin should get a raise. This company is on point and very reliable as well as affordable...even for a broke college student like me! Thank you Advanced Lock & Key!

I had to get to a business meeting when I found out I had lost my keys. I first called my lifelong mechanic and he told me no question that I should call Advanced Lock & Key and ask for Kirk, the owner. Kirk was extremely friendly and upfront with me over the phone: I told him the year, make, and model of my car and he instantly knew what kind of keymake the car would need and what the price would be. And he gave me the assurance that if I could find a better price, hed match it..even though the cost was way lower than I expected! And he made me a second key for FREE! He told me hed show up in 20 minutes but it took him less than 15. The job went by quick so I could arrive to my meeting, and he gave me a $5 off coupon and business card for all business I do with him in the future. Ive used Advanced Lock & Key several times since and I cant believe a local business owner charges so little and gives a lifelong $5 off discount to his customers. I recommend Advanced Lock & Key to everyone I know.
