Took a pair White Suede Nikes to them to get cleaned. Shoes were white with very little wear. I bought the shoes 2 weeks prior to taking them here. Got them back looking grey, looks like they tried to shave the shoes. Who knows? Called the business, they wanted me to take back the shoes to them ("quality" repair). Owner "John" said he would see what he can do. Its obvious the shoes are destroyed. I will eat the 24 dollars for the so-called "cleaning" plus the 90 dollars I paid for the shoes, and keep my sanity from arguing with John and his faulty business. Im sure an excuse will be submitted for this bad review. I only wish the company would have called me before attempting to clean these shoes, and notifying me that there might be consequences. Oh, and it would have been nice to get a call after they cleaned the shoes letting me know they ruined them and would reimburse me somehow. You gained 24 dollars but lost a customer. Great business guys.

So here is the scoop. I had black leather and fur tole that the fur wore completely off one side. I have taken it to several shoe repairs in town and no one was able to come up with a solution for it. I almost gave up on it until one day my friend told me about a shoe repair with a shoe car. So I decided to bring my bag in to see if there was anything that could be done. The owner told me there was no replacement of the fur but he could cover the damage with a leather piece that would match the rest of the bag. I was hesitant at first but i decided to give it a shoe because I like it so much. i could not believe how well the bag looked to be honest. I was not expecting much. looking at the bag you would not be able to tell that the bag was any different. it looks like the bag was made that way. I highly recommend this place, if the there is not an solution they will creatively come up with something.

Dont come here! I read the good reviews so I tried them. Bad idea. I have NEVER complained about a shoe repair in my entire life. They overcharged ($71) for ruining 2 pairs of shoes. Then put red paint on a leather purse! When I commented that the "repairs" were incomplete, looked HORRIBLE, & were not going to last as the GLUE was already coming off- the female staff said I was being picky. Glue was everwhere. She said I could bring them back if I had problems but wouldnt put a guarentee in writing. I asked for a refund, & said Id even leave the items... Nope. I asked for the owner.... Nope. Jon said that they are my shoes thus my problem...no refund. He said they looked good since he did the work.... They are now unwearable. Another customer was complaining at the same time & he said we "dont know anything."

2 days before my daughters wedding I received my shoes ( ordered on line) and was unable to get them to stay on my foot due to a physical disability, I went on line to find help and found this web site but, was very unsure due to the review listed. I decided to go in and get a feel for the place and found a very professional, caring staff willing to listen to my needs. I ended up working with the owner himself, I assumed I would have to leave them and come back. John felt due to the issues at hand I should stay and he would do them then. They took time to handle all of my needs in a supportive professional manner with compassion. So much for ruling out a small business based on a single review, lesson learned. Thank you to all of your staff.

I love Quality Shoe Repair & Luggage.. My feet swell sometimes, and my sandal straps were too short. They had me try them on to show me how much longer I needed them to be (I would have estimated wrong!). Then he said I could wait for them, cause he could see I really needed them. They also added new, sturdy strap attachments to a carry case I have when the original ones broke. If you can think of it, they do it. My sister gets scissors sharpened there, and they do her watch batteries, too! I love it when we have a local place which really knows how to treat customers right!

I brought a pair of boots here to get stretched because I couldnt get my high arched feet in them. They recommended I put a zipper in them instead. The owner was there and cut my boots with me there to make sure I could get into them before they put in the zipper. They were ready less than 24 hours later and they look amazing! Not only can I easily get into these boots now, I think they look even better with the zipper! The craftsmanship is impeccable. I 110% recommend this place. Going back myself for any shoe repair needs in the future.

I would give this place a negative star if possible. I went in and dropped off my shoes, was quoted a price. I was told my shoes would be done 2 days later. I never received a call and when I called to confirm they asked for another couple days. I agreed to it. When I went in to pick up my shoes they charged me $22 dollars more then qouted. The daughter of the owner continue to argue with me and then just walked away without a care in the world. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Read the review and dont go there for your repairs.

Must give them five stars for the miraculous things they have done with shoes, but mostly designer bags that were seemingly ruined that I loved and which they repaired to look like new. Amazing, fantastic re-birth of Louis Vuitton, Fendi and other Italian leather bags I cherished and thought Id seen the end of. Also, for what they do, the prices are just fine. Not over the top at all, and compared to another high-end shoe repair place in LV the turnover is very fast, usually no more than a week or two for some pretty complex repairs.

I would never go back, they turned a pair of my Ferragamo loafers into a mustard color yellow. I know go to Magic Shoe and Luggage on Charleston. This place paints over your shows, Magic Shoe injects your leather with new perfectly matching color. Stay away if you care about your designer shoes.
