My experience with Merchants Moving & Storage encompasses 2 business moves and a personal move. The business moves involved packing and relocating a professional office within the Treasure Valley. In each instance, the staff were thorough and courteous. They helped us determine the most efficient way to pack and label furniture, files, living plants, and equipment. Merchants expertise made what is normally a stressful situation as effortless as possible. In fact, Merchants Moving & Storage provided portable shelving that enabled us to move thousands of files without having to box them. After we had placed files on Merchants portable shelves, Merchants staff simply wrapped the documents, wheeled them onto the truck and then into our new location. It was a breeze to unload the files and maintain their proper order. The personal move involved having Merchants book a mover who could transport my mothers furniture from Manhattan to Virginia. The movers that Merchants used understood New York Citys unique regulations and showed up and delivered all of my mothers items on time. In every instance, Merchants Moving & Storage went the extra mile to be helpful, on-time, and to protect items from damage. I will continue to call on Merchants for all my moving needs.

We moved across town from Boise to Meridian to a new home a few weeks ago, We had used two different local movers before, so I was considering calling one of them. But one of them was charging way more than other movers I called. The other one quoted a fair price, but thinking back, I felt they were great guys, but not very professional or well-trained. So checking the reviews, I decided to try Merchants. Im really glad I did. Their price was very fair and they did a great job. They knew what they were doing and had better equipment than the other local movers we had used. They even rolled out these long pads in our house so they didnt leave any marks on our floor from their moving carts. They made the whole process painless and easy for us. I also really appreciated working with Deb -- her phone manner is so positive and helpful and friendly -- she put me at ease about the whole thing from the very start. Plus she even called the day before the move to let me know exactly what and when everything would happen. I would definitely recommend Merchants Moving & Storage.

I wrote a review about a month ago about Merchants Moving. I wrote it because I work in a suite of a building that another company was moving out of and the men moving the furniture were very unprofessional in their speech and interactions with me and my coworkers. I was brutally honest about the guys that were there to do the moving. But a week after I wrote that review I received a phone call from a lady high up in management with Merchants and she apologized over and over again for how disrespectful those men were. Then today new movers (with Merchants) came back to re-move this company in and I was greeted by a gentlemen who reassured me that all those men that moved that day were let go, and that all the men here today would be only professional. He gave me some candy in a cute little jar and told me to holler at him if one of his guys was acting up. I was blown away! Clearly the last group of guys moving in does not reflect Merchants Moving and I would recommend them to anyone!

I recently moved my family from a third story apartment to a single family home in South Boise. This was my second opportunity to hire Merchants and I knew from the start that Justin would take care of me. As promised the guys showed up prepared for the move, but that would be meeting the "basics". But I have to share that these guys hustled! I told Justin that I would pay for three hours and asked them to do as much as they could in just three hours. Merchants did more than move us successfully, they sincerely cared about value for our dollar. I strongly recommend them to everyone. Thanks Merchants Moving and Storage! P.S. Ron you have a great team and I would never go anywhere else. Make sure Justin takes a break every once in a while. He has earned it!

We recently moved to a new home from our former home, both located here in the Treasure Valley. Using Merchants Moving & Storage was such a great experience! Their staff was so helpful in walking through our previous home estimating what could be moved into their storage cubes for an indefinite period of time, then providing estimate for moving the heavy and awkward items from our old home into our new home. We experience so little damage and what was damaged was taken care of, the washer had a repairman out the same day we called!! You wont find a more professional and helpful company to have your moving or storage needs dealt with. We highly recommend using this fine company.

The guys at Merchant Movers and Storage in Boise, Idaho really let me done. They misdiagnosed the amount of furniture I was moving and showed up in the afternoon on move day with an inadequate amount movers. The truck was already half full with someone elses furniture and so it took another truck scheduled 2 days out to pick up the rest of my belongings. Thats bad enough but then they showed up late on the second day as well. they scratched and dented most of my belongings and even stole my rifle. Its been reported as stolen and I told the police that I have a strong suspicion who may have stolen it. You should expect the police to come a knocking.....

We have moved many times over the years, all have been long distance moves. They have always been very stressful until Merchants Moving & Storage. From the beginning, Kelli in the office was fantastic in setting up our move to Mike and his team of guys who moved us twice in the last six months and both moves were fabulous! Merchants moved us from Colorado to Washington state. From beginning to end this company was a pleasure! Our move was coordinated by Ron Grove. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. Ron has a calm and reassuring nature which helped with the stress. Their pricing was fair and a great deal more reasonable than some of the other movers we contacted. Our drivers Pat and Kent we awesome and both the Colorado and Washington move crews were great! They really helped us get through the process smoothly and efficiently.
