Mom has breast cancer and in May of 2015 I moved us to a rental house in a beautiful neighborhood in Vegas to promote healing for us both while we fought this battle together. She was diagnosed in 2014, and after our move I had to work fewer hours so I could have the flexibility of being able to accompany her to her treatments. It hasnt always been easy, but weve made it work. We have been model tenants, always paying our rent on time. We even won a monthly drawing in March for tenants paying rent on time for a year straight. At the end of our second-year lease I pulled a notice from our mailbox and then found the same posted on our front door, reading “30-Day Notice (No Cause) To Quit”. -Evidently the owner was selling the house I planned and saved when I moved us in 2015. ....I did not have an opportunity to plan for this, or save for deposits on another rental, and not to mention –movers. After getting the notice, not knowing what to do, I sent letters to some moving companies asking for help, and I got responses from 3 of the 15 I sent. As I never even thought I would hear from any of them, of course I "jumped" on the 1st one that called, scheduling our move with them. Apprehensively turning down the other 2, including Diane of All My Sons -while thanking them each for their generosity. Unfortunately there was some confusion with the company I chose. The movers were not told this was a “comp” ..or free move. As he started to review charges with me, and I told him, his demeanor –along with the other movers’ changed. They seemed agitated to be there, broke some of my furniture, and then told me the original estimate was incorrect, and that after talking to their office, they would have to bill me over $100/hour for any overages. I had to stop them where they were, have them move what they already had on the truck –leaving the other half of our home still in the old house. Embarrassed, and terrified, I called the other 2 companies, both who’s representatives had been so nice to me when they first reached out. I did not expect in any way for either to be able to help us –day of. They each are well known, busy companies. As I expected, as anyone would fairly expect, the first company, tho they did try to work it out, was not able to help, as they were fully booked. Then I made the call to Diane of All My Sons, and tho they were completely booked for the following 2 weeks, they moved their schedule around sending Artavius and Brandon the next day to rescue us. The worked quickly, but most importantly carefully, and they treated me with courtesy and respect the entire time. …Despite our situation, one would never have known that we weren’t paying customers. All My Sons, Diane, Artavius and Brandon went out of their way to make sure Mom and I and our pets got safely (and wholly) moved, rearranging their schedule to accommodate our struggle, and doing so with respect, and the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. If you need movers –call up Diane with All My Son’s. You won’t be disappointed. …..And tell her Steph says “Hi”. Thanks All My Sons! –We couldn’t have done this without you. xo Steph, Sharon, Koko, Teak, Pasha and Oreo

(I think this place doctors their reviews, because if you look at yelp they have terrible reviews, with people having very similar experiences to ours. Yet on google they have a bunch of glowing reviews. But read ahead and read the yelp reviews, this is a predatory business, and a dangerous one). I was out of town so my fiancee had to deal with the terrible moving crew sent by All My Sons. Luckily her mother and a female friend of hers kept her company during the move. She still felt threatened by movers who were rude, slow, confrontational, and threatening. They took four and half hours for a move where we had been quoted two hours (we gave the company info on the size of the apartment, its location, our furniture, etc). My fiancee and her friend decided to take apart and later put together the bed when the crew mentioned that this would add another hour to the process. At one point a man in the crew threatened to unload the truck or even pawn our stuff when they noticed my fiancees frustration (even though she hadnt complained). Of course, she felt threatened and along with her friend simply tried to calm them down and get them to finish the move. To top things off, when they were leaving, my fiancee pulled out some money for a tip and one of the crew members told her to "reach for bigger bills", which she did out of fear. We attempted to work with their manager, Blake, to resolve this unacceptable experience, but he only offered to refund a $35 materials fee. In responding to our request for a resolution to this issue in the form of a refund Blake proceded to lie about not having received a call about the crews unacceptable behavior. I called from out of town to relay my fiancees experience WHILE the move was happening. My fiancee didnt call for obvious reasons: fear for her personal safety and the safety of our property. Blake also commented that the move took longer than expected because we were on a second floor, information that he knew at the time he offered me a quote for half the time. When we pushed for an acceptable resolution after his unacceptable offer he cut off communication. What we got at the end of the day was a traumatizing experience for my fiancee and no follow up from management (Blake), who proceded to lie and to cover his tracks. We will be pursuing legal action.
