Well, the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE began in SEPT 2015. We moved out of VEER TOWERS at CityCenter on the strip and our household items went into their storage until it can be delivered to Los Angeles. February 2016, I contact Red Carpet to move the furniture from their Las Vegas warehouse to one of our homes in Los Angeles. It took 3 (three) months to get the item delivered. Upon arrival in Los Angeles, all pieces were deliverd EXCEPT all the hardware required to assemble our Ralph Lauren Bedroom set. AND to really ruin our experience with RED CARPET MOVING, our Ralph Lauren Suede Leather Sofa was missing! Instead, they brought from Las Vegas a sofa that belonged to someone else! Right there and then, I requested firmly that Red Carpet MOVING was to replace the bedroom hardware as soon as possible AND to please locate our leather sofa within their warehouse. It took another almost 3 (three) months before the bedroom hardware arrived AND they still could not locate our Ralph Lauren Suede Leather Sofa. A series of email between myself and Jon Powell with Mr. Powell promising expedited claim processing of our lost sofa. Remember, I said we had a series of emails AND telephone conversation and assurances from Mr. Powell that reimbursement claim for the missing sofa would be processed without delay. THREE (3) MONTHS later- November 14th, I called and asked why my email from a week before was not acknowledge. Instead of being connectted to Mr. Powell, I was re-routed to DIANE and at the beginning of the conversation she acknowledge that she was just sent a copy of the email. I asked Diane why the reimbursement claim is taking so long? DIANES RESPONSE WAS: We had not file a claim because you disputed with American Express the delivery charge which Amex reverse after weeks of NO RESPONSE as a merchant. Diane lectured me to say that until I pay the moving charge, she will not file a claim with their insurance company. FOLKS, you have to understand this baisc principal if you were in my shoes: I faithfully PAID the moving charges upon arrival and delivery of my household furnishings EVEN THOUGH valuable items were still missing. Of course after almost three (3) months of "no action" from Red Carpet Moving did I request a charge review by Amex. Diane proceeded to lecture me again that no claim will be filed until I "re-pay" the original moving charges. I told her NO, I WILL NOT and offered her to deduct the moving charges from the proceeds of the missing sofa from their insurance carrier. During the course of conversation, Diane IMPLIED this was NOT acceptable! I basically concluded the call this claim must be processed by Red Carpet before the end of the year or I will file legal papers here in Los Angeles to settle this dispute. I reminded Diane they will have to personally appear here in Los Angels and cannot be represented by a lawyer. Diane then proceeded to tell me that she will go ahead and file a claim. Please consider carefully of contracting with RED CARPET MOVING. They claim this and that, promise all and deliver nothing. You be the judge. How valuable are your household items to you? Can you risk damage or worse, lost items? FYI: After careful research with the State of California, Red Carpet Moving of Las Vegas IS NOT registered with the State of California for license or transact business for interstate moving even though the trucks are routinely delivering in the Los Angeles area. December 2016: NO RESPONSE from Red Carpet Moving.

YES, YES, YES! It is extremely rare for me to be compelled to write a review of any kind - it either has to be a fantastic experience or a terrible one and luckily, Red Carpet Moving falls into the former category. Three guys showed up on time, ready to work and they were all extremely friendly - definitely the kind of people you dont mind having in your house. They were very efficient and courteous - even asked my permission to take a quick break (given it was July in Vegas) to which I of course agreed, but they didnt even charge us for the 10-minute break. They moved us from a 1700 sq ft house to a 2300 sq ft house (with a 30-minute drive between the two) in exactly four hours! Granted, we were prepared (my husband even had our beds taken apart) but I was still impressed. The reason I went with the company in the first place is because they dont charge a transit fee (a fee that applies before they even get to your house) and they STOP charging the minute the last piece of furniture is placed in your new residence. They also dont charge for mattress wraps or tape or anything else that should be a given when you hire a moving company (at least in my opinion). I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, reliable and efficient moving company - they were great!

We used Red Carpet Moving Company for our move from a 3 bedroom condo to a 4 bedroom house. We have never used movers before because we have gotten our friends and family to help, however things happen to get lost or break. So we decided to call a moving company and we picked Red Carpet Moving Company, and we could not be any happier. I really wished we would have remembered the names of the gentlemen that came to help. They were so proactive, friendly, and professional. I do not think we could have moved as fast as without those guys. We had gotten new bedroom furniture and were nervous about something happening to the furniture since things happen when you move. Not only was our furniture safe and ok they put it back together to how it should be making our move into the house nice and fast. I know I was a pain not knowing how I wanted the furniture in the house but they were very nice to stay patience and just hear what I had to say. I truly am very thankful for you guys because it is a very hard job putting things in the truck and making sure nothing breaks. Thank you soooooooooooo much gentlemen!!!!!!!!!!

Two years later I am writing this review because it is still bothering me to this day. I was recommended to Red Carpet Movers by my Realtor. Many items I had moved were destroyed causing me to toss the mismatched remaining furniture :( I did not purchase the extra insurance so they said they could not help the broken items and were not apologetic. They just made me feel like I messed up not taking the insurance option (which is maybe true???). My brand new coffee table, the glass was smashed into pieces while disassembling. They dropped and broke one of my Z Gallerie pieces, and scratched up and nicked pieces out of my bedroom furniture. At the end of the day I would have rather saved the $700 to move across town to just buy new furniture. I think movers should handle with care peoples belongings because they are paying a large amount of money just to keep their things. Im glad to see others have positive reviews, I may have just been the one-off bad luck customer but I still think about the experience when I look at my bedroom furniture.

They absolutely lived up to their name. Buying your first house is stressful enough but then it hits you..."Now I have to move too?!". Like most people I have moved a few times and usually its a rental truck, a bunch of friends, beer and pizza. But being a homeowner for the first time I figured I deserved to treat myself. I asked around (knowing nothing about where to start) and had more than one recommendation for Red Carpet so I gave them a shot. The process was a breeze and the team that worked the move was great! As horrible as it may sound, I honestly expected "movers" to show up. My stereo type was shattered when the crew that showed up were clean, well groomed, personable and most of all caring. I even had them pack everything for me except the clothes on my back and my animals and they treated it all like it was their own. The name says it all, it was truly a Red Carpet experience. Hopefully I will never have to move again but if I do, or someone I know does, Red Carpet is who I will use/recommend.
