TL;DR - I hope to not have to move again anytime soon, but should I, I will definitely be using Move 4 Less because of the absolutely incredible experience I was provided. They arrived promptly, got the job done quickly, had manners, were a delight to be around, AND it was way cheaper than I expected. Its rare to get all of this together, but Move 4 Less pulled it off. They have created a life-long customer. -------------------------------- I had to move from an apartment on the 3rd story into our new house on the other side of town. I had pre-scheduled a different moving company, but at 8 that morning they canceled on me. I was overcome with dread and had no idea what I was going to do, because we were on a massive time crunch. I looked up reviews for a second moving company, but they were terrible. I looked up reviews for Move4Less and was surprised to see nothing but praise. I called them and, again to my shock, they said they had availability at roughly 4PM. Well, that was great, but now I had to figure out what to do for the next 8 hours ... I received a call about 5 minutes later saying they were actually available right now and they arrived at my house within 30 minutes. When what I had scheduled in advance and completely planned around went to hell, your company was already on the job and starting my move within 1 hour of initial contact. That blows my mind and is enough to earn a life-long customer. However, this review is more about the individuals who did the move. The two men who came to my rescue were professional and took care of everything as I would expect from experts. They also seemed to seriously enjoy their jobs, laughing and joking around the entire time, both with one another and me. It was a joy to see them doing such hard work but still having fun where they could and having a positive presence about them. Even more, they went above and beyond to help make my move the best it could be, from offering to take extra stuff I hadnt even planned for them to move, to rearranging and repacking some of my stuff to ensure nothing broke, and even getting creative with the move itself when someone parked a car in my driveway that prevented them from being able to park like they normally would.

Our move was a 2-day operation. The packers (4 young men) on the first day arrived on time and worked for 6 hours straight to pack our belongings. We had spent the previous week packing many of our own boxes and taking items to our new home (only 2.5 miles away). The movers (4 young men, 3 of which were the same as the day before), arrived on time and loaded our belongings on two trucks to transport to the new house. We had two very heavy items, a baby grand piano and a large safe. They handled each with care. My only concern came when it was time to reattach the legs of the grand piano and turn it upright. All four men manhandled it to the correct position and location. However, it was not without some worry on my part as they turned the piano over, all the weight was placed on one leg of the piano and I was worried some damage might occur. It didnt and all went okay. My only suggestion would be to provide more training for the movers when handling such heavy and expensive items. They were not coordinated in their actions and werent too sure of where to place themselves to support the weight of the piano while moving it. On the second day (loading, transporting, & unloading), the guys did a great job in placing our items and boxes where they were directed to. Reassembling the various pieces of furniture, tables, cabinets, etc, was done quickly and expertly. I had a similar move only three years ago by another company and based on these two experiences, I have to say that your company did a far better and more professional job than the other company. If I learned anything from this move, it would be that IF I have to move anytime soon (lets hope not!), I will not try to reduce the amount of time or materials used by packing and moving my own things. The time and energy expended by my wife and I did not amount to anything when it came time to tally the final cost. So, if you are contemplating using Move 4 Less as your moving company, I wholeheartedly recommend them. But let them take care of everything and save yourself the aching back and sore muscles of trying to do some of it yourself. There wasnt any cost advantage realized.

In June 2013, I contacted Move 4 Less to relocate my items to storage pending an overseas tour of duty. Despite what the name implies, the fees were standard; unlike their service - which was horrible. They showed up to the job 5 hours late and failed to break down any beds/tables/etc.; which they claim comes standard with their employment. If this had been where my nightmare ended, I would be grateful. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the storage facility one of the movers asked to see documentation from the storage company to assist in locating the unit. The Move 4 Less employee used this opportunity to steal the code to get into my unit and upon finishing their shift, this employee returned to rob me of $4,000 of household goods, (primarily electronics). At the time this crime occurred there were exactly 4 people on the face of the Earth aware of where the unit was located, (myself & 3 Move 4 Less employees); and 2 people on the face of the Earth who were aware of how to enter the premises, (myself and 1 Move 4 Less employee). Upon notification of the burglary I contacted local authorities and Move 4 Less. Move 4 Less was very non-sympathetic - refused to offer a refund of my measly $300 to accommodate my hassle. In fact, they actually threatened to file slander and misrepresentation charges against me in the event I chose to share my experience on the internet. Obviously the individual who made this ludicrous statement to me is unaware that misrepresentation is not a crime - and slander implies that these statements are a malicious or false ... which they are not. My only hope is to alert others that there are criminals still working for this company and that Move 4 Less is more than okay with letting them into your home. PLEASE do yourself a favor and scroll down to the next moving company on the list.

These guys were phenomenal! Looking around my new appartment realizing that my furnature including a giant office desk, king sized bed, reclining theater chairs and tons of boxes would never make it up the skinny stairs on the third story of the building we were moving into. I did a Google search for discount moving. Called the 3rd number on the list for move 4 less and reached their knowledgeable and friendly customer service. I got prices quoted and could have had next day service. We went with the following day. The movers showed up within the scheduled time. They were frendly, helpful, and despite our attempts to help they said we were their clients. It was hard sit back and watch the two men lifting our life into their huge truck. They wrapped our wood furniture and TVs took good care to seal oddly packed last minute boxes. I underestimated the time for the drive to our new appartment so I expected to go over the price given. They were quick, careful and very efficient. They never dropped anything and nothing was damaged or misplaced. I wish I called them for every move we have made in the las vegas valley! It was the best decision I have ever made to call for help. I have never paid for services that I have been able to justify the full expense for until I hired move 4 less. Because of the careful navigation of the stairs the came out about 30 min. Longer than then they charged me for and guess what? I was not charged a penny more then quoted! The value of their services was not only in price, it took the stress off of moving, we would have damaged things if we did it ourselves, it took a few hours instead of a few days and no back pain the next day!!! Dont think about hiring them... do it! Save the work for the professionals! I cant say thank you enough move 4 less!
