This company was amazing. After 11 moves two of which were coast to coast I can say that Gentle Giant is the best. I worked with Michael in sales who was competitive with two other major van-line services. Two trucks arrived spot on time and four very smart looking, polite, well educated men emerged. The whole team jumped right into action after quickly introducing themselves. These guys did not stop for breaks, always asked to use the restroom. They quickly packed up 5000 SQ FT + into two huge trucks and delivered it the same day, two hours away. I will also mention that they additionaly packed a separate 25 foot moving truck that I rented for my outdoor containers, plants and garden hardware. Everything arrived intact and was placed without a scratch. These guys were maneuvering and wrapping everything like it was their own. Baby tender paws. Most of the furniture collection is from the 18th century and is very heavy with marble tops and delicate veneers. The team would confirm with me several times before final room set up. Perfect in every way the team masterfully centered and placed everything from the wall etc. I will only use Gentle Giants in the future! I just cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and quality choice in their employees.

I had the pleasure of using Gentle Giant for the first time after using a couple other moving companies in Charlotte for previous moves. Having not been familiar with them I researched the company and found overwhelmingly positive reviews here and other sites. David, Joe, and Ben were witty, fun, hard working, and most of all...quick! They didnt waste time getting the job done, even after I had purchased lunch they wanted to ensure they got the truck packed and decided to eat in the truck for a couple minutes before driving to our destination. David Johnsten, the crew chief, was very professional and assured me they were not like the other companies in town after I shared a horror story of how long it took one of the other companies on our previous move. There was a minor issue with a damaged item but the team took full responsibility and wanted to make it right, right away, based on my recommendation. I will definitely utilize Gentle Giant in the future!

I have been through multiple moves over the past two decades. This is the first time that I used Gentle Giant Moving Company. By comparison to experiences with prior movers, there really is no comparison. The Gentle Giant team members - from move coordinator to quality assurance to billing to actual movers - were extraordinarily professional, personable and responsive. I also used Gentle Giant for the long-term storage of my household goods, which was very convenient. I had no concerns about the preservation and care of my property. The overall cost, when compared to other companies, might be a little higher, but you definitely get what you pay for. If I have to move again, I wouldnt even shop around for another company. Gentle Giant Moving Company will always be the movers I choose.

I also spoke with previous customers in and near the Southend area of Charlotte. I got great responses from previous customers that chose Gentle Giant Moving Company. Based on the online reviews and face to face responses from customers was reasons I chose to hire Gentle Giant Moving Company. I am very satisfied with the professional services I received from the Packing Coordinator, Moving Coordinator and all of the Moving Team that packed and delivered my furniture so kindly. Furthermore, I will hire this Moving Company and Crew again. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone because you will NOT be disappointed. Hands down the best!!!

They may very well be the best movers in the Charlotte area. However, I will never know that as I couldnt get a hold of anyone to help me. Two days worth of calls and the persons voicemail I was sent to "had just stepped away from his desk". Its a shame as the company has a great reputation but the lack of communication is dicomforting to say the least. In fact the only correspondence I ever received from Gentle Giant was the automated response to me listing each and every item I needed moved on their website. 48 hours later and 3 phones calls.....zero response other than " Drew has just stepped away from his desk". Three others companies had responded in the same time frame as I was waiting on Drew to call me back.

Absolutely awesome to deal with. Very professional crew and did not touch a single wall. They even had to move a safe into a tight fit area and were very knowledgeable when it came to determining if it would even fit. I honestly cannot say enough about this moving company, very professional people and nice. I had done most of the packing/taking things apart which worked out great for time purposes. I would recommend them for anyone that is moving. This review is for the Charlotte location.

Same Day Service! I emailed several companies for quotes this morning and Michael was the first to return my call. I wasnt planning on moving everything today but they had and opening in their schedule. It is 3:30pm and the move is complete! Ian and Benjamin worked quickly and efficiently. They were able to do the little extras that make up the difference between ordinary customer service and an extraordinary customer experience. I plan on recommending them to all my Real Estate Clients.

I moved on a Monday from the Steele Creek area to a newer apartment in South End. The scheduling and pricing were very straightforward and I appreciate all Rachel did in working with me. On the day of the move, the two guys were right on time and got my apartment packed up very quickly. They took good care of all my things. Getting to the new place, they were just as courteous and careful. I cannot say enough good things about this company, the service, and the price. Great job, everyone!

I moved from an apartment to a storage center and this was BY FAR the best experience I have EVER had moving. The gentleman/giants that came to move my things were very professional, polite, and careful with all on my belongings. They treated my stuff as it was their own. They literally ran between each load to the truck and didnt waste a minute of my time. I would highly recommend this to anyone - and I have! 2 other people I know used them and have been EQUALLY as pleased!

Wonderful experience with our move! Seth, Jay, and Tanner were incredible! Professional, efficient(!!), and we felt they were mindful of us staying within the initial quote despite our (my husband and my) underestimate of how many boxes/things we had to move. They brainstormed with us for a success solution and, were flexible when we had an unexpected drop off at a storage unit! Will definitely use them for our next move and, recommend them to friends/family!!
