We moved across the country a year ago, and had everything we owned stored in a POD. Getting the POD dropped off, picked up and stored went really well for us, especially since I am the only driver in my household. We were told when we moved that we would be able to have our POD delivered to our new address. We found out that, that was not the case. So we rented a Uhaul and traveled an hour and a half away to unload our POD. We drove to the location on google, and google maps is incorrect. We called PODS customer service and they gave us another incorrect address. We drove around asking for directions, because PODS doesnt allow you to call the storage facility directly (which would have been easier to receive directions from a local person familiar with the area.)So we drove around our Uhaul for 2 hours looking for this place, and 50 miles. We decided to return the Uhaul and get our own vehicle so we were not spending more money on mileage. It turned out there were 3 roads in the area with the same name. We spent $100 for the Uhaul and were not able to completely empy our POD today. I am disappointed and frustrated with this whole process. PODS I would suggest you correct the address to the Salt Lake City, Utah POD storage facility in your computer systems and online. I also believe in certain circumstances the customer should be able to call the storage facility directly, for the reason why we needed to get the exact location. If we hadnt experienced this, I would have rated a 5.

It was more expensive than a moving truck, but I would definitely do it again. The value of having the pod at your place allows you to load and unload at your leisure which to us was very much worth it. I only needed help loading a few large items, other than that my wife and I moved ourselves entirely out of our old place and into our new because we didnt have a time crunch with a rental truck. We didnt need to rally a large group to knock it all out at once with our stuff all over the new place either. We moved at our pace and moved everything where we wanted it to go the first time. If youre just trying to get your stuff from point A to point B immediately and you have a lot of help, then I would go with a truck. If youre just a small outfit of helpers and you prefer to not be rushed and enjoy being able to pace loading and unloading over a few days or more, then do a POD!

Onsite service was very good, Delivery service was the worst. We scheduled for a delivery on Monday with a pickup the following Thursday. We included the dates in our original Dropoff request. On the day of the scheduled dropoff, I called to confirm. My wife (who had setup the account) gave me the Account Name and the PIN, but hadnt added me to the account. Upon calling in, I was told that even though I had all the information, I was not able to even see if things were being delivered that day since I wasnt on the account. Our stuff didnt get delivered that day. They refused to deliver the following day and said they only made deliveries to where we were moving to 2 days a week. We ended up renting a uHaul and moving our stuff out of the POD, and into our house for about half the cost of a POD Delivery, but it took more time.

The BEST money I have ever spent. I was amazed at how easy it was to order a POD. By far the best customer service from any company I have dealt with. PODS has outstanding customer service. It was refreshing having a company that really honestly cared about their customers. Professional, helpful and friendly. I loved that they arrived during the time frame they gave (3 hr window) and the driver would call to confirm when he was on his way. The drivers were on top of it, dropped exactly where I needed it and very very friendly. The easy of loading the POD and just calling for pick up, makes it worth any amt of money. All my items were in perfect condition when my POD was dropped to unload. Just a smooth process.... great great product and service. I cant rave enough about this company!!!!!!!

Our house moving experience was made so much easier by using the PODS system. We wanted to load and unload everything ourselves on our own schedule then have everything stored for three months until our new home was completed. The PODS folks were great with scheduling. All of our belongings were delivered to our new home exactly as we had hoped.

The website made scheduling so easy. With a million details to attend to during the move, it was a time-saver to just arrange everything on-line. The POD worked perfect for us. It was delivered to our driveway on the day we chose. We were able to move things in as we were ready. I would use PODS again and highly recommend them.

Google made a typo, the location is 2464 S. 6755 W., West Valley City. From the 201 turn south on S. 7200 W., and immediately turn left in front of the 7-11 convenience store (2100 S.), sign on the road is about a quarter-mile on the right, the office is at the back of the warehouse on your left, youll see the containers.

We moved out of our house and back into a new one. The PODS experience was fabulous, especially moving back in. The unit came back and was delivered nearly right to my front door, which made moving in a breeze. They were on time, courteous, and most importantly, my "stuff" was stored and came back perfectly.

Worst moving company ever! Our pods were supposed to be delivered 3 weeks ago and they keep moving our delivery date farther away without any help or concern to get them to us sooner. Im pregnant and have been sleeping on the floor in an empty house. Never using this company again.

PODS the only way to go. We packed one, had them pack the other two over 3 months, We had them delivered 2 months later, in great condition, convenient, one at a time. Would do it again, if I had to move.
