My experience here was horrible. On 6/14/17 I mailed a priority overnight letter to the IRS. I paid $23.75 for it to get there on 6/15/17, it didnt get there until 6/16/17. After it didnt, I called the PO on 6/15 in the afternoon to find out what happened. One of the employees there tracked the letter and saw it went out on the 14th in the evening but there was no record of where it was at that particular moment. It should have been in CA by 2pm our time, 12pm California time. I went back there to get my refund on 6/16/17. I was told I couldnt get my money right then because the reason why it didnt get there needed to be investigated. I had to fill out paperwork and the Postmaster had to review it, but she wasnt there. Also, I was told that I would get a check and it would have to be mailed to me. On 6/23/17 I called back to see if a decision had been made. I was told if a decision had been made I wouldve gotten a check by now and that the Postmaster wouldnt be back until 6/27/17. I called on 6/27/17, spoke with several people who kept cutting me off and wouldnt let me explain the situation. I finally spoke with the supervisor, explained my situation, she asked me what my tracking number was and looked it up. She then told me they didnt have the paperwork that I filled out on 6/16/17, took my name and number and said they would call me back. I asked her why this needed to be done because I paid for overnight. She asked me when I first came to the PO. I said the 14th of June, what day was that, a Wednesday. She then said, well the paperwork is saying it shouldve gotten there Friday the 16th. I said, no, thats not what the receipt says. So, 3 hours went by and I called back. The supervisor was on the phone, I requested to speak with the Postmaster. She said she couldnt give me a refund just like that, that it had to be investigated because they have people that are committing fraud and getting multiple refunds and would I give them a chance to call me back. I called the Westmont PO, explained my situation, took my receipts in, they looked up the trail on line, I filled out paperwork and received my money back out of the drawer right then as I should have without drama. I only went to the Addison PO because I work in the area. I will never go there again. If one of you employees reads this review, tell the Postmaster to cancel my request because its been resolved. I had to give this post a rating but it should be no stars.

Of all USPS locations Ive visited this one has the absolute worst customer service. Today I had to stand in line 3 times, to send one package, which I ended up not sending. I needed to send a small package internationally, something I dont do often so not too sure how the entire procedure works. I did not have my items packed beforehand, figuring itd be ok to do at the post office. Round 1. Reach counter with my items and tell the clerk that I need customs form (no available to pick up on my own) and a box. Clerk weights my items, gives me the form and tells me to grab a box fit for the parcel Im sending. Ok. Round 2. I reach the counter again, with customs form filled and items placed in the box. Clerk tells me that post office doesnt give packing tape and i must go back and get some. Ok, fine, I get that. Round 3. I reach the counter again, this time with everything packed, my items bubble wrapped and box sealed with the tape and labeled, customs form in hand. Best part starts here. Now they look at my customs form. "Oh, youre sending electronic cigarette (vaporizer)? Cant be done.", "Omg, youre sending batteries?! Rechargeable?!! ". All the while rolling eyes and being so very annoyed with this customer that dared to do something slightly unusual. I understand customs. I understand regulations. But there was absolutely no reason any of the 3 clerks couldnt have asked about items Im sending during Round 1 or Round 2 and saved themselves and me an hour of grief. People at this office just do not give a damn. For shame.

This place is horrible, people have no customer service skills. They ar rude and soooo unprofessional. For the money they get pay per hr. They should fake been nice.... the deliver of packets is horrible as well and if you try to track them down they act all insulted because your trying to find your goods. They lost a packet that is word over $500.00 and AM the 1 at fault, according to them, but they did not take the time to let me know they try to deliver... they all suck... THEY ALL NEED TO BE TRAIN AGAN OR NEW STAFF!!! is the worst post office ever!!! If it was possible to give it zero stars I would! I ordered a package and it was suppose to be delivered today. I have been home all day and havent received my package. All day I have been checking my delivery status and it said out for delivery. I just checked it again and it says there was an attempt to deliver my package and that it can be picked up at the post office. It is Saturday and the post office is closed on Sunday so I now have to wait until Monday to go to the post office and pick up my package. There was no letter left in the mail box saying there was an attempt to deliver a package. If I didnt check my status I wouldnt know where my package was.

Horrible! I have not received my mail to my home in about two months!!! I have to rush to go to the post office before they close because of my work hours. All they say is that its to dangerous to deliver to my home and offer me a p.o. box which i would have to pay for. How would that even help me??? Every time i ask who i talk to about this problem I am told that they are not in rite now and i can call latter. When i call I get the same thing. Where is this person??? I did get in contact one time and was told they will look into it...... No wonder the usps is going under. I have never had this type of rude service at ups or fed ex the people always have a smile when delivering my packages is never to DANGEROUS for them to get out of their truck and run across Rohlwing rd in a blizzard in rush hour so i can get my packages on time. thanks Addison usps for not caring about your customers!

This is the worst post office ever!!! If it was possible to give it zero stars I would! I ordered a package and it was suppose to be delivered today. I have been home all day and havent received my package. All day I have been checking my delivery status and it said out for delivery. I just checked it again and it says there was an attempt to deliver my package and that it can be picked up at the post office. It is Saturday and the post office is closed on Sunday so I now have to wait until Monday to go to the post office and pick up my package. There was no letter left in the mail box saying there was an attempt to deliver a package. If I didnt check my status I wouldnt know where my package was.
