Well, my story is very tragic but real. Fortunately, as I get through the days I am surrounded by the employees at Calla Lily about every four to five weeks for a touch-up hair appointment. Little do the employees know that they are giving me much more than a new look, but rather a little hope, confidence, and a huge reaffirmation that "I am a great person and the evidence is those who I have surrounded myself around." About a year-and-a-half ago, my daughter was never returned from a weekend visit with her father. Well because he always violated visitation orders I did not call the police until 48 hours after my daughter was supposed to be returned home. In an effort to save everyone a moment of sadness divuldging what has happened over the time that has passed since my child was not returned from visitation, I will just let you know she is still not home and I have not spoken or seen her in two years.As you can imagine my life was destroyed! My existence, my daughter, was gone! Today, was a good day I was able to get out of bed and go to Calla Lily for my hair appointment. The second I walked in I was met with a huge hug and many smiles. The atmosphere helps me forget for an hour the relentless pain that I am trying to redirect into strength. Every thought, behavior, enjoyed activity, or learning lesson all has to be formed into a living woman of strength, character, will, and believe it or not, happiness, from shattered pieces of the trail of evidence left behind. To be welcomed by skilled, non-judgemental, eager stylists at Calla Lilly is far more life -changing than the current hair style that one uses to express an identity for a little while on lifes path. The experience is life-changing no matter how small of a step we take each appointment. Ultimately, the step has been in the right direction!

Today I decided to try a new salon to get my nails done. I found calla lily online and when I called to make the appointment the receptionist was very kind and very helpful. After setting the appointment I immediately got a text confirming the time of my appointment as well as the stylists name. I enjoyed every moment that I spent in this quaint adorable salon! Unlike the salons where you cannot understand the person doing your nails and the environment is very cookie cutter, Calla Lily was very unique. The products used during my pedicure were hand made by the owner and are absolutely wonderful. I cannot say enough about how amazing AnnMarie is. She is spunky and sweet and we were Fast Friends chatting throughout the entire day! I enjoyed my manicure and my pedicure so much that I was easily convinced to get my legs waxed for the first time! Thank you so much AnnMarie I cant wait to come back and see you again and Im sure Im going to be letting you color my hair soon. Give this amazing little salon a shot, and be prepared to be Impressed.

The Calla Lily Salon is an elegant, but extremely warm and comfortable place. You feel at home there, like you are amongst family with both the atmosphere and the people. They are friendly and genuine. They truely care about their clients, and not just the job that they are doing whether it be a cut, color, nails, massage etc, but about who you are as an individual. There is also a Tea Room next door which is just darling and the perfect spot for so many occasions, be it a bridal shower, a girls afternoon get together or your daughters 5th birthday party. The Salon/Spa and Tea Room are both "get away" places that offer a beautiful quaint style that has been touched by a loving heart. Youll love them!

My friend and i went there for pedicures and by the looks of the reviews we were super excited, we are both laid back and easy to please but this place is far from relaxing, the chair i was in was one the would be in a living room our feet soaked in metal buckets, washer and dryer 2 feet from you, in a basement thats not even finished and the lady who worked on me had me sit forward awkwardly and very uncomfortable because her back hurt, didnt get any other service but defiantly would not recommend getting pedicures here :(
