All my life I have been battling thin straight fine hair which requires a body wave every six months to at least have the ability to style my hair and keep the stile thru the day. Body waves are no popular anymore and most hair stylists dont even try to learn the technique instead i was offered products and more products which did nothing more than weigh my hair down and I went back to square one. Yesterday i found Tom Prunty at On the Edge Salon % Spa. Tom took the time to address my concerns cut my hair first fixing all the mistakes from the previous cuts by trimming and blending and blending to eliminate all the previous layers that just didnt do anything for my hair. I was amazed at the cut but then we went forward with the body wave. Let me tell you I was amazed. His technique is so different that I never knew all these years it was done incorrectly. Yes it took a bit longer but I dont have rows marks from the rods and i have beach curls if i want to go natural on the weekends. My hair is soft not burned dry and I am looking forward to be able to style my hair in the morning and keep the style all day rain or shine.. Amazing job Tom Prunty.

My wife and I frequented this salon for over two years. We then went elsewhere for 18 months because, in spite of having an appointment, we were never seen on time. We recently returned to the salon to give them another opportunity. After three months, we have decided to again go elsewhere. My wife gets her hair done, manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. I get a haircut, massage, manicure and pedicure each and every month. However, once it was 20 minutes past my appointment time and with no explanation from the woman behind the counter, I got up and left. It appears that their time is of value, but their customers time is not. Technicians were busy "shopping" for purses and accessories that were for sale in the salon, but were not taking care of their customers. I find this a sad state of customer service, especially in light of the current economic times. Good place to go - IF you have the time to spend all day waiting for your appointment.

I have been getting my Haircut and eyebrows waxed for over 30 yrs with Maria . All employees have smiles on their faces and welcome you like if you are part of the On the Edge Family. I am always happy with my results and will never go anywhere else. They are very busy so I suggest you make an appointment. Continued Success to all the employees at ON THE EDGE.

I have been coming to On The Edge For a couple of years I can Truly say they are the best! I get my haircut & color, my manicures, and pedicures, I love that they go out of their way for me. ( they offer wine, fruits, little appetizers) they are great, I recommended them to some friends and they also love it!!! thank you girls :)

I get my hair colored and cut, pedicures, manicures and eyebrow waxing here. They do an excellent job and really happy I have found this salon. It is hard to find a good stylist you trust and who is consistent with your hair! Maria is my stylist and she does such an fantastic job! Highly recommend them to friends and family.

Tom Prunty cut mine and my daughters hair and he did an awesome job! He was very nice and i had a good time talking to him while he cut my hair in the north aurora salon... would recommend ppl to come to this place. My husband loved the short hair :)
