The Salon is so lovely. The girls there were very nice and did a great job on my daughters hair. She does not feel comfortable having people touch her hair but had no problem at this salon. She is very shy and they didnt force conversation which was good for her because she just wanted to be pampered a bit and relax which she was able to do here. We will bring my son here to see how they can do with his hair. Every other place he has gotten his hair cut has made it look like he had a bowl cut done at home. If they can deliver when it comes to his hair, I will sing their praises from all ends of the earth because nobody has been able to give him a good haircut yet. I met the owner and she is generous and lovely and Im surprised someone would be offended by being offered free services (the last "reviewer"). I think places should try to keep their clients but Im sure the last review was not a customer but the stylist who left or one of her friends. It sounds way too personal to be an actual customer review. But hopefully Plainfield people patronize their local businesses like this one. They wont be disapponted here. I would never recommend this place. I went there in January and am still upset. I knew exactly what i wanted done and told the hairdresser. I wanted 4" off and was so fed up with my length. She said straight out no i think all you need is a trim. I let her cut it thinking maybe she knows what she was doing. As soon as she was done i said i want it shorter. I was told go home and come back if really want shorter. I went home pretty annoyed. By next morning i was so mad and wanted to chop it myself. I went back and had it cut the way i wanted. I dont have time to waste at a salon with a little one at home. In such a hurry i got a ticket making the wrong way turn back home. If she would of just listened to what i wanted i would of never had to come back and be in hurry to be with my family back home. I am beyond mad at how i was treated and wont go back.

always thought this place was very nice. until this week! I have never been so disappointed by a business before, sooo unprofessional!!. My FAV stylist left to open her open salon (GO HER SHE IS AMAZING!!), Salon 9 called to notify me of this then offered all services for the next 6 months free if i stay with them.. I understand wanting to keep your business. But it was very unprofessional and unappealing. The owners head must me floating with all of the Arrogance she has.. I went there because of the stylist, i was recommended by a friend to go to her not your snoppish salon.. I think it is horrible to treat an ex employee that way, the salon is not making any money by doing this just trying to bomb this stylists new business.. Such a shame unprofessional vindictive people run buisnesses.

Fatastic salon. Very appealing and friendly atmosphere. From the moment you walk in you are greeted like an old friend and offered something to drink then taken for a wash and head massage. The stylist listen closely to what you want, take thier time to make sure you are happy and leave you excited to come back for regular maintenance or a special event.

Loved my experience here! Kaity (sorry if thats spelled incorrectly!) did a fabulous job. The color was beautiful and the cut was exactly how I wanted it. They offer a lot of deals and specials, which is so appreciated, and the salon is very nice. Best of all, it didnt take three hours! Will definitely return!
