Id strongly suggest finding somewhere else to go. I just had some paint damage on a close to stock color car from someone backing into me. It was between 600 and 700 to repaint the front bumper. They did an alright job color matching. However, if you look at where they tried blending the two colors together on the front fenders in the light, you can see bad scratch marks from any distance away. I noticed some left over marks before I paid so they fixed that in a hurry, but I should have gone over it more thoroughly. Now there are bad swirl marks on both front fenders because the shop owner was being a bit pushy about me taking too long of a look at the car. There were also clear coat drips and a blemish right in the middle of the bumper I didnt notice until later since the car wasnt that clean. There was also a good bit of overspray getting into the engine bay which smells bad when the engine heats up. Overall, just try a different place. I probably would have had a better result just asking a car friend to paint my bumper.

I just bought a truck that had a maintenance folder full of maintenance records. Central Illinois Autobody put a salvage motor in this truck and its almost frightening the way they slapped the motor in there. The company that owned this truck before i bought it, spent an extra $4,000 after the motor install to have things worked out. Nothing was routed properly or installed correctly. The motor job cost over 2k with these guys and the truck was back in the shop 4 different times in the next month. Im glad I did not pay for any of this, but the maintenance records show very clearly that the work that was done Central Illinois Autobody was not good.

My 10 week old Rav4 and I had a run-in with a mailbox, leaving a long deep scratch and dent on the front fender. I checked with five different autobody shops in town, and Central Illinois Autobody had the lowest quote by far (between $50 and $300 less than others in town). I was a little concerned because the place has a very "garage shop" feel, but the work was excellent and they matched the car color perfectly - so well that I had to doublecheck that I was actually looking at my vehicle. And they washed and vacuumed the car. I strongly recommend them and will go back there if I ever need more autobody work.

Great place to take your car after an accident. Went here based on positive reviews that I read online. Scheduled an appointment to take my car in to repair a side view mirror and driver side quarterpanel. When I dropped off my car, they gave me a ride back home so I didnt have to take the bus. They only took a day to finish, but I also had them take care of a water leak that has been going on for a long time. The stuff they worked on looks like new and no more water leak! These guys are great and I will take my car here for any future bodywork.

One of the best shops to take your vehicle too. My husband and I had some nasty damage on our Dodge Caliber from an accident and we got a fair priced estimate for repairs. Charlie is just wonderful to work with, such a good person. The work he did was amazing! The car looks brand new, you cant tell the door was pretty much crushed in. Hands down the best customer service and work. If we ever have anything else we need done, Charlie will be the man we see. I will be referring friends and family to this shop.

My 4 year old kid could do a better job than these clowns. They took the glass out of my car and then left the car sitting out in the rain. Further, When I got it back the interior was covered in body shop dust. This is a classic Mopar too, not a daily beater (not that any car should be treated like this)! They broke the plastic interior trim reinstalling it and said nothing picking it up. Not to mention they smoke in the shop where your car is. If you care about your car at all....stay FAR FAR away.

This place is awesome! took my car in and had a slight idea of what was wrong with it. they looked it over and broke everything down to my terms and fixed the problem. they do amazing work and I was referred by a friend. the price was very reasonable and as a single mom that is a huge plus! they are honest and they actually care for the customer and making sure they are satisfied and happy with the job. if I ever need work done to my car in the future I will be taking here and only here!

I called Charlie on a Saturday morning in a huge bind (car dead 2 hours from home and not worth fixing). He was headed out of town, but assured me he'd come take a look at my car as promptly as possible and he did. He was extremely knowledgable, exceeded my expectations, and offered fair and honest solutions. I was very impressed and should I need auto help in or around Champaign ever again, Central Illinois Autobody Inc. will be my first choice! Highly recommended!!!

Was pricing a repaint on my car, they were given the year, model and current color to help them give a quote. They replied much like a teenage running something out of their garage would say. They are not professional and obviously do not care. There are hundreds of places to get a car repainted, Ive gotten 4 quotes so far so I dont know what makes them so special. Do yourself a favor and pick a different body shop, there are a ton within the radius of this shop.

My car got hit in a parking lot. I got $600 bucks from my insurance, so i was looking for a place to do it for that amount or less. Centrall IL Autobody did it for $150, i ended up making 450 bucks, and my car looks like it did before the accident. I would definitely recommend them. Also the owner is a really nice guy who seems really honest! Which you dont always find when dealing with cars, so that is also really important to me.

Had an accident with my Lexus in Champaign. I was recommended to Central Illinois Autobody by a close friend and Im glad I was. The experience was a very pleasent one, and Charlie, the owner gave me several options and thourghly explained the proceedure. The Lexus turned out GREAT! These are very friendly and honest people. I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I am not from the area, but I was involved in an accident in Champaign. Charlie was extremely friendly, very caring, and went above and beyond to take great care of me. My car also looks awesome! They kept me informed throughout the process. Also, they got things done in a very timely manner. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone that needs repairs. Charlie is great!

These guys are great! Had a accident with my New Land Rover and it looked really bad. Im not a local, but the person that I was involved in the accident with was having their car towed to Central Illinois Auto Body and advised me to do the same. I am so glad I did!
