If I could give them negative stars I would. I brought my $200 comfortor in to have a simple rip in the seam fixed and to be cleaned and they destroyed it. The women I dropped it off to which I assume was the "owner" claimed she knew how to fix the seam and told me she would have it ready by the next day at 3pm. I ended up having to work late so I had to pick it up a couple days later. I apologized for not being their the next day to which she replied "oh thats okay it was ready to go yesterday!"......but wait I dropped it off more than two days ago so shouldnt it have been ready then not yesterday?......hmm glad I didnt rush out of work for it that day...then she brings my blanket out all wrapped up and I asked her if she was able to fix the rip...to which she replied "oh yeah I fixed it" now silly me I figured she knew how to do her job and I didnt need to pull off all the plastic wrapping to check if she indeed really did fix the rip and I just took her word for it. I get all the way home start removing the plastic wrap and what do I see? A bunch of strings sticking out the side of where the rip was, then as I am inspecting the area that she "fixed" I see SEVERAL issues. #1 she did not match the two seems together which was EXTREMELY obvious since the blanket is gray & white and there was a huge gap between them. #2 she used WHITE thread on a GRAY top which again was EXTREMELY obvious. #3 THERE WAS STILL PART OF THE HOLE LEFT THAT SHE DID NOT STICH AT ALL!!!!! Are you kidding me?! I take the blanket back into her and tell her the issues to which she acts dumb as if she had no clue how this could have even happen and tells me to leave it with her and shell have "the girl" fix it and tell her the issues.....but wait didnt she tell me at pick up that it was HER who did the alteration??? So how are you going to play stupid like you have no idea how this all happened?! I told her no I did not trust them with my belongings and I wanted my money back. She offered me only $7 back out of a $33 charge and said she would be keeping the rest of my money because it was a "big blanket and took a long time to clean".....I tried explaining to her that yes she did clean the blanket but now I have to transfer it around to another place to have the now gapping hole in my blanket FROM HER to be fixed and it was going to get dirty again so I would have to have it cleaned yet again so she really didnt do me any favors. To which she replied "thats not my problem and went and sat down and ignored me. Forgot to mention her GREAT customer service skills....If you like not having your belongings destroyed I would STRONGLY suggest staying as far away from this place as possible. After reading her other reviews she clearly has no idea what she is doing and I wish I would have checked this before leaving my items with her and trusting her.

i had drapes brought in to be shorten. all came back lopsided and uneven. the day before the pick up the owner called and told me i had to pay more. i was quoted a different price by the same lady that did the alternations. 20 minutes after the drapes arrived i received a call from the owner saying i owed more money. my friend who picked up the drapes told me he had paid the original price that was quoted.i explained to the owner that the drapes arent measured right. she told me thats not my problem. i said i gave you the measurements and she hung up. four minutes later i receive a call from a number which i didnt recognize so i let it go to voice mail. it was the owner calling me from her cell phone tell me she was taking me to court if i didnt pay the balance. 3 more times i received calls from the same number which went to voicemail as i didnt know who was calling. it was the owner saying she will.find out where i live and kick my a@@. this is a business owner. i dont think so. told all my friends. none of them will ever go bsck there again.

I dropped off my shirt, undershirt and pants on a Wednesday to pick up on Friday. My shirt had a simple makeup stain and they couldnt remove it. She lied about been in a chemical wash to try to remove it. My undershirt was a mess, when I showed up she tried ironing it by hand and only did the neck. It was horrible and she still gave it to me. Pants looked untouched. I do not recommend this place. Since I needed my outfit by that afternoon I took it to Sams Cleaners on Higgins and Nagle. They took the stain off, steam pressed my undershirt and did an awsome job on my pants. They were embarrassed that City Cleaners handed me my clothes how they did. I do not recommend this place.

I hade 3 pairs of curtains to shorten, they doesnt tell you the price from the begining! The curtains were 115" long and I wanted 86". Well, first they kept the leftovers (they said that it was my fault that I didnt say from the begining that I wanted them), second -the curtains are one longer, one shorter and not cut straight. One curtain is 86,5 in one angle and 87,5 in the other one. I mean, even me that Im not a tailor can do better job if I had a sewing machine! I paid 16$ per pair but the work doesnt worth 5$. They steel my material, they ruined my curtains and they took my money! I am sorry that I cannot post picture of the curtains!

The kid said I had to pay extra to use Visa. I tried to pay in cash but they had no change. Kid just stares at me like Im supposed to go get change for him. Finally another customer comes in and gives him change.

Friendly staff and affordable cleaning. Come on Wednesday or Friday for the good deals on pants! The other guy below is right though, they never have change...
