This gym is a great, local place frequented by neighborhood people. Theyre regular, nice folks that are friendly and not intimidating at all. Im usually reluctant about fitness centers because sometimes the hyper-fit people can leave the average joes feeling like outsiders. Thats not the case here. There are plenty of classes and plenty of equipment. It never gets overly crowded, either. The prices are reasonable and many people will qualify for deals if you sign up with partner or are a student, for example. The location is also incredibly convenient, whether you live nearby or stop in off the train or bus.

1. Friendly staff 2. A lot of classes 3. convenient ( next to the El, good food places nearby) 4. Though its small compared to a corporate gym, so far, Ive never had to wait for a machine.

Really affordable, especially when you consider most classes are included! The front desk staff (at least the ones Ive encountered) are super nice and helpful, especially Maddy (Maddie?)
