I read some great reviews on Yelp about this place, and decided to give it a shot. Gotta love it. The place itself is nothin special, but who cares...the twin sisters who run the place and cut the hair are the real deal. Super fun and my best haircut in a long time! I knew I was gonna like her when after sitting down in the chair, she says "we gotta get rid of that Mullet!" Which was exaclty right...my last cut was not good... and she was not afraid to talk a little smack! Great value too...$20 for a great cut. Worth the trip even if you are not in their hood.

This is a great shop. Gina and Lexi are awesome and pay great attention to details. I started going there almost 5 years ago based on the awesome feedback they got on Yelp, and I couldnt be happier. The haircuts are always top-notch and they do a neck shave at the end, which is a nice touch. Theyre always asking everybody if they want a drink or hows the family and they know everybodys favorite cut. "The usual Matty?" is the question I always get and all I have to do is say "Yep". These ladies know how to cut hair and are just awesome people in the neighborhood!

I got about the worst haircut I have ever had. Not only was the barbers recommendation one that I did not like, it was executed poorly. I do not recommend Justin at this place. I am going to have to go back and see if I can get this terrible job fixed by a more competent barber.

Best hair cut in Chicago! Great prices & Awesome People. I have been looking for a good barber for 15 years. I found her at Family Barber Shop, Lady-G ! I moved from the city to the Suburbs but I still get my hair cut at the Family Barber Shop because they are the Best!

The stylists are amazing. They make you feel very welcome and the experience overall is very enjoyable. To top off the outstanding atmosphere they do a great job with your appearance and have hot towel shaves. Im definitely going back. Best haircut of my life.

Lex and Gina are great at their profession... I walked in looking like an ape, and walked out looking like a respectable human being, with a great haircut!... Lex and Gina are good people, straight shooters...

The people are very friendly and you feel like family. They offer you a drink and the barbers are openly chatty. After 3 decent haircuts. I had a sub-par cut from there once and decided to move on.

I was underwhelmed with the facilities, and this was the first time I went to a place that didnt shampoo my hair before cut and my hair cut got 3 negative comments by the end of that night.

Great hair cut. Alexi my barber is very cool. Everyone there is friendly and easy to talk to. Even offer you a beer or water while you wait.

Stylist was nice, but doesnt have the equipment to cut hair without a guard. Second place this has happened. Why is this request so complicated?
