The manager and main stylist, Julie (Nuri) is excellent. She works very fast and shes very good at what she does. Shes also very pleasant. I am an African American woman with natural hair and its important to me not to apply a lot of direct heat to my hair. Julie roller set my hair and touched my edges and roots with a blow dryer. I loved the look. My main issue with her and the salon is that I feel like her prices are arbitrary and unfair. I bring my own shampoo and conditioner and she doesnt offer a discount for that even when I asked her about it. She charges me $65 and honestly, I think others are charged less but I cant confirm because the prices are not posted. I also appreciate the way Julie washes my hair. She gave a thorough wash and my hair was clean when she finished. Another time I visited, her assistant washed me and my hair was itchy when she finished. Im trying to find a compromise because I really like her and would like to make her my regular stylist but these are major concerns for me...hoping we can work something out.
