UPDATE: Just wanted to give final update. Very disappointed at last visit. What you state as Rules and Regulations, I proceeded to verify with 3 different USPS sources: a Supervisor at the 800# and 2 separate locations, who all agreed, my refund for Guaranteed shipping should have been honored. Your reasoning: unable to verify my company, Even though Ive mailed over 154 pkgs via your facility, Ive patronized your location for the past year, I know most of you by name, I had my Shipping Receipt, transaction Receipt, even my credit card that the transaction was made against My Company Credit Card My identification Yet, you denied the request and instructed me to file the claim Online. But what is most troubling is that you had my ID, my credit card and company card, went to the back and was gone for 9mins. Being a victim of Identity Theft, the #1 Rule: never be separated from your ID/Personal Information. Sadly, a lot can happen in 9mins... When I expressed my concern for the long wait, you responded, "the supervisor was busy and then she had to call someone else to get approval for refund. Im sorry: I just dont believe you. Very disappointed, but I wont be returning to this location anymore. Simply put, you were wrong! You know it, I know it and the 3 different USPS sources know it. I can only presume your actions were based on my previous Review regarding this matter and this is your method of retaliation. Unfair and definitely Unprofessional. Sad that I had to share this, but simply put, that was not right! Very disappointing! I wont identify you by name publicly, but you were not being truthful. Most unfortunate. Farewell! _---+++++++++++++++ Supervisor at this location is Rude and lacks accountability. Be Truthful and STOP the fabricated lying. And then u hangup on me???? Needs retraining. The staff associates are great, but Supervisor, not so much. ______ ___________ Ive utilized this location for regular mailings for the past 6mos and NEVER had an unpleasant experience. By far, this is the BEST post office location in the City of Chicago. (Harrison Street location is a Closed Second - Denise is AWESOME) (The Evanston location on Main St...now there, you get Attitude, and just an unpleasantry element that confirmed my decision to Never go to that location, Ever again) But the Auburn Location: Ms. Pam, (New Ms. Pam) is simply a Living Doll. A true Sweetheart and extremely knowledgeable in Service and Products. She has an essence of the Mahogany Era...and a Style of Clasic Artstry)...RightOn!) Ms. Vikki: If you have an error on a pkg, she will FIND it. She takes the time to locate and correct. A meticulous Lady that gets it done right. Ms. Pam (the previous one who has transferred to a different location) She has an essence of Aretha Franklin. And a beautiful smile to go with) Ms. Dee: A lady with a Chicago Essence...A Hipster in her own right. Very cool. Overall, this location reflects a high level of Customer Etiquette, Service and a Smile in their Hearts. BEST OFFICE IN THE CHICAGO AREA. Im here from LA and do Multiple Mailings weekly. Been to a few offices, but this is the location I will ALWAYS used, during my time here. A truly PLEASANT Experience every time Im here. The Manager at this location should be very proud. If I could give them anything less trust me I would. I metered packages in the mailbox on the corner by my house and they are not picked up and scanned for two to three days. So now I have to physically drive to the post office if I want my packages to be delivered on time. One first class package to California took exactly 30 days to get there. And this one takes the case, I drove there on Tuesday evening, went in and handed my metered priority 2 day package to one of the clerks because the line was long and I really didnt require a receipt, boy was I wrong its Friday and the package does not show that it was ever received by them. There is no additional activity after my printed label. Yes Im furious and will be paying them another visit today. Yesterday I dropped packages off at a different post office. They definitely will not get anymore of my business. This is what happens in consumerism when there is no one to compete against you. Your workers feel that theyre special and owed something more than they already receive. If shutdowns ever happen... This definitely needs to be the first one on the list. Most businesses set goals to measure how fast the customer is in and out, this post offices goal is to see how many customers they can keep in line before ultimately giving up and walking out. If it wasnt necessary you wouldnt have a freaking job. This is what you chose or maybe it chose you but you cash that paycheck faithfully, so do the friction job. Sorry people for the rant but this is a prime example of why our people are labeled negatively when it comes to business. To know better is to do better.

This post office is terrible. I sent 30 dollars worth of packages and my friend had to go and pick them up from this post office. She has done this before and there was never any issue, until yesterday. The workers would not let her pick up the packages as she has done previously because her id did not match the packages. She has picked up things for her grandmother and she is definitely not her grandmother and there was never an issue. Now the packages are going to be returned and I have to shell out another thirty bucks to send it all back up. It is ridiculous. If the rules had been applied before, we would not have had this issue this time. There is no consistency and the people on the phone are rude and not helpful. The only option that was given was a redelivery and to leave the packages. This is not an option because if left, the packages will be stolen from my friends porch. Also, the post office hours are convenient for my friend to just go whenever because she has to work when they are open. I purposefully sent the packages this way so that I could assist the USPS. I will not be doing this again. Its no wonder people want to UPS.

Terrible service. They always have an attitude and refuse to give you packages they have in the back. I ordered something online and it was sent via Fedex, then Fedex handed the package to them. The Fedex tracker told me that the post office had it and tried to deliver it twice. They left no missed delivery slips. When I went to post office to pick it up. The superviser told me I couldnt get my package even if I had the slip. I asked her why not and she gave me a bunch of BS excuses about how it hadnt been delivered yet or processed. When the tracker app clearly stated it has been. Then ext day, the app said they tried to deliver again and I still didnt get a door slip. What is even worse. The goverment issued some free ipads to my Mothers adopted grandchildren. They were never delivered, because the postal worker STOLE them. Stank attitudes all in this post office.

these idiots held a certified mail package in the back for a month,never put a notice in my post office box to pick it up,after speaking with the person who sent the package for me i went inside and asked did i have anything back there and was then brought my package.i missed 3 urgent meetings because of these idiots laziness. this used to be one of the best post offices years ago but now it has gone to the dogs,i always get other peoples mail in my post office box and im sure others get a good share of mine as well. if i didnt have this post office box as my business mailing address on everything i would close my box here and open one at another post office where they actually do their jobs
