DO NOT TRUST CARLOS First off let me start by saying that I worked in an oil change shop for 8 years. I brought my car in for an oil change yesterday. Upon returning home, I noticed that the invoice stated 5W20 as the type of oil used. This concerned me because my 08 Charger w/ 3.5l clearly calls for 10W30. I called the shop and got Carlos. Hes the fast talkin hispanic guy who thinks he knows everything and thinks he is smarter than everybody. Clearly he has inadequacy issues. Anyway, he looked up the spec in the computer and told me that my car will take all grades of oil from 5w20 to 10w30. Being a veteran of the buisness, I knew this didnt sound right. I contacted a buddy that works at a different Firestone. My suspicions were confirmed, Carlos lied to me. This is a sign of a poorly run shop. Why lie when there is no need for it??? Just tell me to come back and have the oil changed out..... FIRESTONE OF CRYSTAL LAKE HAS LOST A CUSTOMER TODAY, I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE FOR ANYTHING!!!

Tried to take advantage of a teenagers first car. They wanted to charge over $700 to change spark plugs, wires, mass air flow sensor and gasket. Not to mention the ridiculous quotes on the other things they said were wrong with the car. Such as the license plate lights being out they wanted $30 for $5 parts and 5 mins. worth of work. We ended up having them change the gasket and oil which left $500 to change spark plugs, wires and air flow sensor. Parts at auto store totaled $150 and half hour tops to change. They already had to mess with the spark plugs to change the gasket and were charging more to change plugs and wires than the gasket. I do not recommend Firestone, dont trust them. They charge well above the price of the parts and way over estimate and over charge on labor. Beware if you take you car here!

I had a flat tire and needed a replacement fast, I searched everywhere, I went to Firestones website and saw they had my tire size, so I made an appointment for later that day. When I arrived at Firestone they told me that they didnt have my tire in stock, but that theyre two other locations an hour away had one tire each. I immediately assumed I would have to reschedule for tomorrow, nope they said if I wanted the tires I would have to drive out to theyre other stores and pick them up. Never once did they offer to get them. When I questioned why I was able to make an appointment online that said my tires were in stock they were silent, "thats just how we work" the sales clerk said. Pathetic.

Save yourself time and money by NOT going there! Had my brakes done and there was a problem from the start. They kept saying nothing wrong but yet they kept squeaking and braking hard. After 8 months of complaining they finally fixed the problem! Also had a battery installed at the same time. 2 different mechanics told me it was a bad battery! But NOT FIRESTONE!! According to them its just fine! Bottom line, theyll take your money but not honor warranties!!

Carlos, Carrie and Matt are all Amazing people. Carlos (Store Manager) and Carrie (Asst. Store Manager) ALWAYS go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met in a timely and affordable manor. They are always honest and upfront with me, they tell me which services I need right away and which can wait. Matt (ASE CERTIFIED MASTER TECH) takes great care of my car. This is the only place I let work on my car (1998 Sebring Convertible, which I baby!).

If you have a newer car i wouldnt take it here. They didnt know how to reset the tire pressure sensor after replacing a tire. Youre either going to have to end up bringing it back in there for them to try and figure out, or just look it up in your manual and do it yourself like i had to. Otherwise the service has been relatively good.

Had an appointment set up and when arrived on time, was told would have to wait 30 minutes because they were backed up. A few minutes later, they said they wont be able to see me because they are busy. I understand business is business, but when you have my phone number I expect you to call me when something changes.

I had a great experience at Firestone, Carlos got in me in quickly. I was there for my wifes tires and an oil change, was out in an hour!! I am actually going to have my tires in the next few weeks.

Great service. Prices are moderate but look for coupons. Been going here over five years. Do warranty on tires, brakes, and life time wheel alignment. Its worth it!

They do not do a a proper diagnosis of the problem. They try to over charge for smaller problems. I do not trust them

Nice front office staff. Star knocked off because they were sloppy with removing tire stickers.
