Very honest folks. My truck had some oxygen emission issue and they identified that someone in the past has deliberately unplugged some ports and it was hurting cars engine. The replacement of which would have costed around $500 or so and these guys plugged that back for me at no cost and also shared the same information with me. Its amazing to find such genuine and honest mechanics. And yes they are dog friendly as well. I completely recommend these guys !! ********** I took my car to some other auto repair shop and they told me there is no wiring issue when I showed my truck to Midas they told me I have to spend $300 $400 its gonna take a lot of hours theres some wiring issue my car horn replacement is not going to work. What I learned with my experience with that Midas They just lie. They want to make you feel that they did you free favors. But that may not be true. There was no issue to begin with. Be aware of these guys , they can make up any stories to tell you that your car is in great danger and they repaired it or they put the plugs free of cost for you and then theyre going to charge you for some other baseless service to get your business from you be careful

Love this place! Shapoor is a top notch businessman with amazing scruples. He will never charge you for something you dont need and will be happy to have his guys check your car out (usually free of charge!) to be sure of what needs to be done. Just today a teenage boy came in asking if they would change his battery. The techs checked it out, showed that it needed charging, but was not necessary to replace. No charge for the check and he didnt have to replace a special expensive battery. You never feel like youre getting a bad deal here. The work is always top notch. Thats saying a lot for a car repair place. Been coming here with all our cars for at least 10 years and would recommend to anyone!

I can only account for my personal experience with this shop. Took a used car recently purchased to this establishment. Had my oil changed and a wheel alignment along with the purchase of new tires. Before my next oil change i brought it back in because of a bit of noise in the front end. I wasnt interested in paying pro mechanic fees for a simple wheel hub replacement. Did it myself, long story short there were multiple issues in the front end that needed addressing. How they missed all these obvious faults i dont know. They broke my grill and then claimed it was already like that. (yay for me) not going back there again

I will never go to this Midas ever again. Went in there to fix my alternator and fuse box and the car ran fine for a few days and stopped after. I looked at the fuse box above my battery and the box was melted. I had to actual go back twice because the first time they did not check the fuse box. Im very dissapointed in the service I got and I will be taking my car elsewhere.

Shapor runs a very honest and mechanically well rounded shop. I have been using them as my local mechanics for 10 years and its been my experience that they have never performed work I did not authorize and are not trained to do. I have narrowed my trusted car mechanic shops down to 3 in the Nortwest suburbs of Chicago and this Midas shop is in that list.

Management here is great, I never feel like they push extra services on me and that they understand how expensive repairs can be. They are always sending me coupons which is great as well. Mechanics always work as quick as they can and I have never had to return for any issues.
