It probably comes as no surprise that entering the world of MMA training can seem a bit intimidating for those who are brand new to the martial arts, as I was when I first decided to give it a go. However, from the moment I walked through the doors of Team Curran MMA, I knew I was in the right place. Not only was I sincerely and warmly welcomed by the instructors and staff, but right away I could sense the deep spirit of camaraderie in the air. I knew unequivocally that it was something I wanted to be part of. Ive been a proud member of Team Curran MMA for roughly four months now. And in that short time Ive met scores of great people (both staff and fellow students); Ive progressed from knowing absolutely nothing about the martial arts to having it become a vital part of my life; and Ive gone from thinking I was in "pretty good shape" to learning what getting in shape really means (as well as already losing almost 15 lbs.). In a very short time, I started to feel that which all my fellow students seemed to have already realized: that Team Curran becomes the place you simply cant wait to get to each day. And Im confident that anyone considering joining the team will quickly feel the same.

This gym has literally changed my life. I decided to take advantage of their offer to try any of their classes once for free, and I was immediately hooked. I now train there several days each week in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Boxing. I couldnt be happier with my decision to get a membership there, Ive met so many wonderful people and Ive managed to get into better shape doing things I enjoy immensely. I would HIGHLY recommend checking it out and trying out some of the classes regardless of what your fitness goals are, they work with all shapes and sizes and can help you lose weight, get in better shape, and you also learn some awesome and practical self defense while doing it. You can even join their fighter training program if youre interested in getting into fighting MMA. The instructors are all incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and they (along with the rest of the members) have made me feel so welcome and like a part of the family since the day I walked in. I have never enjoyed exercising more, and I can safely say that training the various martial arts under Team Curran has been a life changing experience for me.

Ive been training with Jeff Curran/Team Curran for over 14 years! I travel and train all over nation, the coaching staff led by Professor Curran is one of the best. Jeff is one of the most TECHNICAL instructors Ive come a crossed in my time in Martial Arts and thats huge when learning how to DEFEAT an attacker weather on the mats,cage or street who is bigger, stronger and faster.Jeff has FOUGHT,TRAINED,TOUGHT all over the WORLD with all that knowledge the students get is HUGE! The student body is diverse from ages 5-70! Everyone is made to feel welcomed and thats important when deciding on a place to train. This experience has change my life, I own and operate my own Academy. If you want to enhance your life go train Martial Arts,go give Team Curran a try..

Top notch place. Great instruction. Fun, safe, well-structured and challenging classes. Team Curran helped me say goodbye to 30 lbs in three months. Because of my schedule I dont typically attend Jeffs classes; he still knows me by name and will always take time to ask how classes are going. For me, that goes a long way and shows how interested he is in everyone coming through the doors. Chuck and Corey do a great job teaching classes -- depending on when you go, classes can be larger or smaller. Being a little older beginner student didnt matter a bit. There are people of all ages here, and I felt very welcomed from the first time I walked through the door.

As a single father raising 3 boys I have had many struggles, my youngest asked to join martial arts and we found Curran. My youngest child was insecure, frightened, and shy. He has learned confidence, as well as the fortitude to stand up and respectfully attain what he desires. He has grown in his 2 years at Curran through the quality examples set by the staff and Jeff Curran. He shows integrity and compassion in every aspect of his life. I am proud of him and I owe the staff my gratitude for their patience, understanding, and diligent vested interest in improving the mindset of their students.

I have participated in both the Muay Thai program and the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the past 3 years and can not say enough about the quality of the instruction. These people are passionate and it comes through in their instruction. The approach is extremely individualized, so anyone can do this and feel successful. I have been to 4 other academies and none of them come close. If you want to be fit and confident in your skill, this is the place for you. Check it out. You will not be disappointed.

Joined jiu jitsu almost a year ago and dont see myself working out any other way. Staff is friendly and instructors are top notch. This is a gym for everyone--from your mma fighters, jiu jitsu competitors, or an old hobbyist like myself. The facility is amazing: plenty of mat space, lots of parking, an octagon, boxing ring, bags, sauna, locker rooms with showers!
