Great IF YOU: 1. Listen to your own music/headphones 2. Are familiar with your own workout routines and do not require a trainer 3. Need a 24 hour gym 4. Do not require free weight bench, squat, MP, row, deadlift, etc. and can make due with DB up to 60 lbs... Smith machines are available. 5. Use eliptical or running machines a lot. 6. Do not require a swimming pool, sauna, etc. 7. Bring your own towel and lock. 8. Are looking for a good, clean gym for a minimal monthly fee. 9. Do not slam weights or yell while performing exercises. *Side note, if you workout late at night it is not crowded. The machines are also placed further apart for more room when it is crowded compared to many other competing gyms. I am not saying that requiring anything outside of these points is wrong. However, if these points meet your criteria, than its a good gym. Well worth the $10/month + annual fee for me.

I had a situation today where my car keys dropped off from my key chain and I was searching the path I took from the locker room to my car but could not find the key. I informed the staff on duty and kept looking. As soon as I went out to look again the two staff people disappeared. It wanted to leave my phone number in case some one finds my key also was hoping we could check under the treadmills in the path but they were hinding for at least half an hour. I could not get internet connection to get can number and was hoping they would help but even after screaming hello several times, no one came to ask may I help you. I had to walk home at 12:30 am to get my key because I could not get internet connection to look for can service. No humanity. I went back to the gym at 2:15 am and I did not see any employee there at that time either.

OK I only joined for one week, so my view may be limited. This is straightforward - this is no luxury gym. There is no swimming pool or running path, there is no clean towel supplied, and there is no steam room. But it was charging minimal monthly charge, significantly lower than every gym I have attended. There are a lot of treadmill, bike, and weight equipments. There are TVs displaying every channel most people want to see. It was never too crowded that you couldnt get on what you like. And best of all, it is super clean. There are people cleaning the equipment all the time. This is perfect for me to have some exercises before going home every day.

Today I was at the Gym of Des Plaines to 7:40 pm, to enroll and how do not speak the language very well, I asked the guy if he could help me, he said I was busy and that he expected the other girl who was attending another person, as expected, he met two people who came after me, I felt rejected this situation and left. They should put more people trained, educated and interested in the good performance of the yours Gym , because I have so many other choices of other Gyms, and yours, unlike needs to attract customers. I felt very bad in this situation, I sought another gym and am well pleased with the care of my gym.

Hey i agree the billing system is not that great ...But it worked in my favor I was late on my payment but i thought what the heck .Lets see if i can get in and take a work out so i did . For the next EIGHT months . When i tried to pay the manager was not that interested . I told them that i may be behind but when they shot my card threw it was all good . So man im not going to BEG people to take the cash . They have great saunas and the place was pretty dog gone clean so i give WORLD GYM 5 STARS ALL DAY LONG .

Place is ok and clean but like every gym, it is not so easy to unsubscribe. I called in regarding a $29 charge, the person on the phone was rude and impatient, dis not even hear me out. Turns out this is my annual fee which cannot be waved even if you discontinue membership for the next year. You can cancel membership only in person or with priority mail letter-the employee was not patient enough to explain what exactly the letter should be, some kind of form. Go figure.

Its fine for a planet fitness. The staff up front is always friendly when I check in and leave, the equipment and locker rooms are always clean, and theres enough of most machines to get through a workout without having to wait for a machine unless you go at peak times. Theres not much else out there for $10/month, and 24hours is a nice perk. Id like proper squat racks but the smith machines are good enough.

dirty and messy locker room no one clean the space Asked cancel/refund at the signing...counter staff want me to contact manager for cancellation, next day I called to see with the manager.. left memo for returning a call...no one is returning a call....I dont touch any equipment...not even finger.......I dispute the charge.. they change a name, and re-charge it again...I dispute this again....disgusting

I have been in this fitness for more than one year, everithing is ok , but the smell is terrible, no fresh air, just fans circulating old air, especially in the toilets, theyre trying to fix the issue with fresheners but that just makes everything worse. I am not the only one that has noticed this issue, many people discuss this same problem publicly.

The tall blond girl that works there nights is extremely rude. I will never go back because her attitude is atrocious. I thought planet fitness is supposed to be non-judgemental. And instead of doing her job and checking people in she is working out and using the machines instead of being at the desk or cleaning.

I just moved into the area and wanted to use the gym which u have membership at other location. They said I have to pay $5 to use the gym for that day and in the future until I change to this location is primary location. That is some B.S. that they did not tell me when I signed up for it.

This would be 5 stars if the music wasnt garbage. The style and voices are garbage garbage garbage! When those songs are over, they play more garbage! Its hard rock, hip hop, and sensuality music loud in your face! Please play some classical or March music.

They didnt let my guest in without an ID. She is in other planet fitness database and usually just gives a phone number. We had to leave, she has had her picture taken at another location. They need to find a better way to manage their systems.

I was a member and had to quit then wanted to renew after moving back. Walked in ready to pay with a debit card only to be turned away because I didnt have a check! Completely brainless business model and will just go somewhere else

These place used to be good but now its getting worst. Mens restroom is dirty as F. Most of the people does not wipe down the machines after use and weights on bench are never taken out. I used to love this place. Such a shame!
