Absolutely horrible!! The people that work there appeared to be nice and genuine. In actuality, they do not know what they are doing and there crooks! Was quoted $750 to replace surpintine belt and power steering reservoir. One of my main complaints was the voltage meter reading extremely low. ( an obvious indication that the alternator isnt properly working).. was told the car was ok and that it was test driven. Upon leaving the shop with the car, the voltage meter was still reading low. I was told to drive around because it just needed to recharge due to not driving.. only to break down 30 mins after leaving the shop. Had to go to the nearest place to find out the alternator needed to be replaced. This problem should have been detected. Totally unacceptable!

We started going to McLean Auto after two bad experiences with another repair shop. Its always tough finding a reliable auto repair shop but because McLean is approved by AAA, we decided to try them out. Ive been thoroughly pleased with our service and with the staff. They always explain the details of any repair and give us a print out of all services performed and when the next services should be done. Any time I compare their prices with others online, I find that they are in line with many other places but their service definitely sets them apart. Ive already recommended them to family members who were going to the other auto shop and I would say the same for friends.

John and Patrick are very helpful in keeping us informed on necessary and upcoming maintenance/repairs for all of our cars which has proven to make our older cars so reliable. They stand behind their work and really do listen when we have suggestions. I just love their rewards program!
