11.23.15 Steve Leffler, owner of Suburban Tire, contacted me directly in order to resolve issues that I experienced from one of my visits. He was understanding and apologetic, but I hope that he follows through with a resolution. I would really love to have a reliable auto shop that stands behind their work. Steve seemed genuinely invested in the family business and devoted to its success. Its rare that a business contacts customers that have had the misfortune of a negative experience. Thats pretty big in my book and definitely improves the likelihood that theyll receive my business in the future. I will provide additional updates once the issue is resolved. 11.20.15 I took my car to have winter tires mounted on oem BMW wheels. I had oem BMW tire pressure monitors already mounted on the wheels, but they charged an extra $19 per tire to replace the valve. Thats fine, except they did not have the correct valve in stock so they decided to drill out the hole on the monitor to fit a random after market valve. It wasnt until one of my tires ran flat that I realized what had happened. The valve was holding onto the wheel with 1/4" of thread which was not enough to hold a seal. They did not bring it to my attention that they did not have the correct part, but instead, decided to destroy my perfectly functioning TPMS. Now I have to spend another $400 to purchase new tire pressure monitors. Thanks, suburban tire... Check out the photos to see what suburban tire will do to your car if you let them

I have been a customer of Suburban Tire service for a while now. Usually, it would be for small repairs. My last service which was for what looked like a simple problem, turned out to be quite complicated. There was a problem with the emission system on Audi 2004. The system intermittently generated a fault alert that was hard to catch and diagnose. Suburban Tire had to borrow additional diagnostic equipment from Audi to reconcile the problem. Finally, they found a solution, while staying within the initial repair cost, even though the amount of work had tripled from the initial assessment. Additionally, Suburban Tire negotiated a deal to use better parts with the warranty company at no additional cost to me. Overall, Suburban Tire provides an outstanding service and has a great crew. Thank you Steve J., Nathan L., Ralph M., and probably many others who I did not deal with directly. I’m glad we have this professional and dedicated service in our community. Disappointed... On 6/18 I had a tire with a nail in it. They took on the job and fixed within the promised time and the awesome part was they didnt charge me. I was so happy and was bragging to all my friends and family Suburban Tire knew how to take care of their people. I then took the vehicle home and later that night tire was flat again. On 6/20 took tire back to be looked at. Per Steve the tire has a undetectable leak and was advised replacement was the only option. Since I purchased my vehicle at Saint Charles Nissan and they claim to have lifetime tires I took it back there. Techs were able to find leak immediately and repair. Per Service manager at Nissan the repair was not done property and confused as to why they were not able to find the "second" leak. Very disappointed in Suburban tires.

I trust these people to take care of the most important people in my world. Knowing their vehicles will provide good service and are well maintained is priceless to me. This is the kind of service and value that Suburban Tire provides. They treat you like you are a part of their family right from the moment you walk in. Hot cup of coffee and a smile as they access the issues at hand and they always confirm your contact information. They have earned my business over the years and frankly I would not even consider going elsewhere. The fact they are closed on Sunday also means something to me as well. Excellent service and great people. The prices are competitive but honestly I would pay more just to have the peace of mind they give. I would strongly recommend their services.

Five stars are not enough!. I hapened upon Subruban tire 19+ years ago when I needed a tire repaired. They did such a good job, that I have never been any place else for tires ever since. Very professional, top off the nitrogen in my tires whenver I need it, friendly, good prices, show genuine concern for the customer. We are a three car family and when I count back they have had all of our tire business for 12 or 13 vehicles including tire repair, new tire purchase, front end alignment, brake work, balance and rotation, and I dont remember what else. Super folks..very high recommendation.

Ive taken my vehicle to them with various issues, and they have provided honest and candid feedback--many times without charging me, nor directing me to make major expensive or unnecessary repairs.
