DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT GO HERE. You might justify going here because of the several good reviews, but just know I used to have a good rating at this place like the ones on here to only be surprisingly disappointed just very recently... You might take this review for granted and go there anyways and have good visits there, but just know that in the near future you are very likely to be disappointed... Dont forget a lot of the time businesses will have their own employees write outstanding reviews about their businesses. I brought in a new shirt from Express to be dry cleaned here, with the collar tags still left in it. They didnt take the collar tags out, cleaned the shirt with them in and that left EMBARRASING PERMANENT WHITE STAIN OUTLINES OF THE TAGS where they were, basically ruining the shirt. I made several 20 minute trips to the cleaners because they tried several "Re-dos". After the last "Re-do", the manager said all he can do is refund me for the cleaning... Right, like $2.50 is going to make up for the fact that they ruined my shirt. I suggested the manager give me a refund for the cost of the shirt if I bought the receipt in and he said no. I thought thatd be a logical thing to suggest since Farmwood cleaners in Addison did that the last time they messed up on their end and paid me the price of the shirt they ruined, but this manager was smiling in my face, with no sympathy at all, saying theres nothing he can do. He even said that it should have been brought up that this shirt cant be professionally taken care of! The shirt is from Express! And it can be professionally taken care of, you just need to remove the tags before you take care of it! NO MATTER WHAT shirt you bring in, if you dont take the collar tags out, the same thing is going to happen EVEN if the shirt LITERALLY says it can be professionally taken care of! I understand that mistakes happen, but the least you can do is make up for it with the price of the shirt and not smile in my face. All in all, if youre looking for a dry cleaner to use in the long run, or even the short run, dont come here because youll waste your precious time to only find out from a shallow manager that they cant makeup for a mistake on their end.

Would give "0" stars if I could. First, on every time I have tried their cleaner services, either (1) the quality was poor, (2) they could not locate the expensive item upon pickup, (3) customer service was horrible, and (4) as always they are overpriced, with no apparent specials. More annoying is their large sign out front, which "preaches" with adages and messages that are "pie in the sky" at best, but often blatantly untrue, and offensive. I wrote a nice letter to both of the co-owners, and didnt even receive an acknowledgement, or courtesy of a reply. How hard is it to say ... "we have received your feedback, and wish you the best. We hope you will try our cleaning services again in the future". They didnt even have the class to do that. They are a cleaners - be a cleaners, not preach to me. Do what you do, exceedingly well, and dont try to be what you are not. However as stated at the outset, they dont even do a good job of cleaning.

I have been a customer of Verlare for 10+ years. They provide excellent service. Their shirt laundering price is a bit high. Their dry cleaning fees are competitive for the quality they provide. They also have tailors that do a good job. I moved recently so it does not make sense to patronize them. In terms of quality, they have no equal. Their staff is friendly and, for the most part, does a great job with customer service. SE, Lombard, IL.

Always quick, honest, and cheap. The staff here are always nice and efficient. If there is a garment that they cant fully clean, theyll let you know why and tell you if they can try other methods that could damage it further if it doesnt succeed. But they always ask to make sure youre satisfied. They have a tailor next-door and I just dropped off my first garment to be tailored, so Ill likely review that soon too.

I just want to say how pleased I am with the services provided by Verlare Cleaners. They were recommended to me by a well known department store after another cleaner had ruined an expensive sweater. I have used Verlare Cleaners for several years,.They are outstanding and customer friendly. I highly recommend them. Maggie

They were able to remove blue jean dye from a brand new coach purse! I am so impressed and can no longer see ANY dye! I spent hours trying to clean the purse myself, but had no success. Taking it to Verlare was key!!! VERLARE IS AWESOME!!!! You can be sure they will do an excellent job!!!!!
