Let me tell you what, the bad reviews on this store are simply untrue to say the least. I am ecstatic with this store. They are honest, proud, and hard working people. My wife told me to post a review on google for them because they are superb, honest and go out of their way to make you happy. Not many small businesses do that. Reading some of the negative reviews, I can only laugh to myself. I am a veteran, retired police chief, pastor, and small business owner myself. People on here saying they are being swindled are either ignorant to the actual facts or dog gonnet, do not understand that honest mistakes happen. Yes folks, there is such things as honest mistakes. Let me tell you about my 3 very incredible experiences. This is my first review of anything ever. My wife, bless her heart, showed me how to get on to the site here. I chose to write this review because I had a great experience on many occasions here. I brought my tablet in that I use for work and it was not charging or turning on back in January. I also brought in my phone in March because it was not turning on. Today I brought in my phone again because it would not charge all the time and it was dropped in water. Let me tell you that back in January with my tablet, they took it in back and before I knew it they came to me in the waiting room to say it was working. I was surprised it was so quick and to my delight, they did not charge me! I spoke to Mark on the phone and Adam in store that day. They both said they would like my future business if I break something and there is no charge. Adam said all Mark did was take out the battery, check the voltage, and put it back in. They could have charged me to look at it, for their time, but chose to be honest and actually want me to come back. The second time in with my phone not turning on, the same thing! No charge! I spoke to Shirlee this time over the phone and she said it was just a pin bent in the charging port. She said she bent it back, cleaned it out and it works! At this point I feel bad for them doing all this work and not charging me. I ran over to the sporting goods store and when I came in to pick up my phone, it was 100% charged and worked like a dream! I spoke to Donald this time at the counter and he said the same thing, I would rather have your future business than charge for something that can be easily fixed. That brings me to today. I walk in and a new fellow I never seen before was at the desk. I didnt catch his name. I told him my phone dropped in water and before that it was not reliably charging. He brought it in back for a little bit, I sat down, and he came out a little while later and my phone is on and working. I am shocked to say the least. He said he opened it up, blew out some moisture and plugged it in. It turned on! Once again they did not charge me! I am elated. How do they make any money? To find a business that is honest, fast and has stand up management, well that is just hard to find. It is small business that really care Ill tell you what. I have been around to many business in my old age where they just dont care about you unless you pay them. There are places out there who would make something up just to charge you so they make a quick nickel. This place cares I can tell you what. I am an old fashioned guy that likes a stand up business. I hate technology but am forced to use this darn phone and tablet, now I am on a computer writing a review (with the help of my wife). Mark, Shirlee, Adam, the fellow I never seen before and the entire store staff THANK YOU! My VFW and local union have heard about you because they always say Rob what did you do to your phone now. I tell them I went to ubreakifix again and they fixed it for free again! One day I will really break my phone and I expect to be charged double. I hope you all are proud because I am proud of you. Keep up the great job folks!

A couple weeks ago, I dropped my S4 on the ground in Chicago. A few days later, people could barely hear me on the phone and then a few days after that, it was just mute - no one could hear me at all. So, I went to ATT to scope out my options. If you didnt know already, basically all the phone service companies are doing away with those 2 year upgrades. ATT gave me my options: 1) To get an S5: Pay $650 + tax + everything else in store today 2) To get an S4: Pay $500ish + tax today 3) 18 month plan: Pay $200 for the phone today and they will add the rest to my plan totaling around $900, so the phone is paid off at that point, but there is still a continuance of the increase in the monthly rate 4) 24 months: Same thing as #3, but totals to $1,100 So I went in to uBreakuFix the next day to see what they would say it would cost to fix it. Jeff came out, I explained the situation, and he says, "Hmm, I might know what the problem is". So he went into the back, came back out in a few minutes, tested my phone, and it worked. And for no charge. Obviously I was pretty thrilled. So basically, the place is great. Totally worth your time to go into and check out. If you have an easy problem that ATT can not/ will not detect, it may be found here. Only suggestion: I think you (the store) should have more accessories. I could be wrong but if other people are like me, when they are satisfied they will want to give you business more than the other phone stores themselves. I would much rather buy more things from a store that I trust than a store that I feel iffy about (and am kind of angry at).

My daughterss phone had a fit last night. Half of its screen decided it didnt want to work. So, I was on yet on another quest for Apples mythical "Excellent Customer Service" that I hear so much about but never experienced before. So, I went to Woodfield Mall and visited the Apple store. I got there at 10:30a and was told that the next available appointment was for 2:50p. So, me and the kids bummed around the mall a bit, went back to the A store at 2:45p. The same guy who made my appointment saw my phone, spent 5 minutes to analyze it, and had a diagnosis for me. He claimed that the phone has been dropped too many times and that the accumulation of them caused the screen to spontaneously stroke out. He said that ordinarily, it would only take a removal of the glass face to replace the LED which would cost a couple of hours and $135 to fix. But he said that the edges were "so badly dented" that there would be no way to remove the glass face, however, if I have $295 laying around, he can replace the phone with a brand new iPhone 5... joy! I decided to decline the generous offer and decided to go to UBreakIFix at the Geneva Commons. It took them 30 minutes and $115 to fix it. I had a couple of other visits to this location and have equally happy experiences. Would give 6 stars if allowed. Thanks again, guys.
