Took the dress we borrowed for my daughters homecoming to the Hampshire Cleaners and they took me to the cleaners... they melted and discolored (all the white gems used to be silver) about 80% of the gems and sequins on the dress and then had the audacity to tell me it wasnt their fault or problem. They wouldnt even refund the cleaning fee (daughter picked it up and didnt think to check it)... the lady just told me that they arent responsible for beads and sequins and that is was because it is a cheap dress. (Which it isnt, trust me, I just paid for it) I could understand perhaps a loose bead or sequin during processing, but not this catastrophic destruction. They didnt even have the common courtesy to call me and let me know they damaged it. I filed a complaint with the P.D. and took dress to 2 other cleaners to get their opinions, all of whom said it was definitely processed with the heat too high. The owner lady still refuses to do anything... dont use Hampshire Cleaners in Hampshire, IL...

I took a forty-three-year-old piece of material to this cleaners thats from a trunk of an old car. It had rust stains and other various stains in it. The material is kind of a felt material and she wasnt sure if she could do anything with it. I left it with her for a few days. Went back to check on it and she worked wonders with it! Looks awesome! I wish I would have taken before and after photos. Great job and thank you very much for making this old piece of material that is no longer available look as good as it does for its age! Very very pleased with her work. Highly recommended!!!

Horrible service and tailoring. Didnt have my 2 pants that needed a patch sewed on done in time which was 3 days and it looked absolutely horrible and they sewed the Tag to the front patch so I couldnt even open the pant leg with scissors so they didnt even check their own work. I guess they might be just good for cleaning your clothes but all i know is that i will never go back there again. I want my $15 back but leaving this review is all I can justify myself doing. Take pride in your work other you need another proffesion
