The warm welcoming Firehouse Subs, starting out from southern America making its way up north to warm our chilly Chicago hearts. The sandwiches are hot and made-to-order or made with their Fully Involved package which includes; mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions and a pickle on the side. As a sandwich lover they have everything I need in a meal so I make sure to show up hungry. I got the large for $2 more on the Club on a Sub white bread fully involved. The ham, turkey, bacon and cheese dance a perfectly choreographed ensemble as the condiments pull all together between freshly toasted bread. I cant wait to go back to get their famous smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket that was slow cooked to perfection (some sandwiches like the brisket, steak + cheese, and NY Steamer dont come fully involved unless you ask because the sandwiches taste great without being fully involved). My favorite part is the fact that they have a generous assortment of hot sauces to use on your favorite kinds of sandwiches, the variety alone is enough to bring me back for more! One negative thing that Firehouses does is include a wrapped pickle within the wrapped sandwich if you order to go, and this is a personal preference alone but I prefer to have the wrapped pickle separate from the wrapped sandwich to prevent sogginess or cold on the sandwich or making the pickle hot. Nothing to take a star off the rating though, you can just ask them to put the pickle in the bag instead.

I had whichwich, jersey mikes, jimmy johns, subway, and the gas station to choose some subs from, the last quiznos had been gone for years :(, I seen this place from the street and figured Id try them out, walking in seeing all the hot sauces, made me think the choices for sandwiches better not be pepper this spicy that, Its NOT! None of these subs have anything spicy unless you want it. I got myself a turkey bacon ranch, but I had turkey the day before so I wanted to match Quiznos chicken carbonara (nothing will ever compare), the substitute was easy to ask for and the owner said not a problem! even gave me a slight discount because of the difference in price from turkey to chicken. This place is more comparable to Whichwich though since most of the subs are hot from an oven. I give 4 out of 5, cause Quiznos was my first love, just a shame the franchisee are treated badly.

Awesome food, real meat that these sandwiches are addicting. Not like fake plastic deli meat like at Panera or most sandwich & sub shops. Victor a crew member there is awesome and friendly and remembers your name; worth going out of your way to see them and eat their food.....they are fantastic and my husband and I definitely crave it all the time. Thanks team Firehouse!

Friendly staff as soon as you walk in the door. I had the steak and cheese sub. It was awesome! Its not the usual philly cheese steak from other sandwich places. My husband had the meatball sub and it was awesome as well. This is definitely a place that we would come back to.

The sandwiches were very good. The wait time was a little much for some of the other patrons as they interupted the sandwich makers on several occasions to complain about the speed of service.

Great food plenty of options. I dont like pickles and always ask for no pickles and they give me pickles anyway. Other than that come here at least twice a week

Subs are handcrafted to the point of taking 20 minutes, and still end up being lukewarm and soggy. Definitely meh.
