I have always been a loyal customer to Firestone Auto Care. However, 3 horrible experiences have changed my opinion of the company and this particular branch in Homewood. I brought my car in for an oil change and alignment several months ago. I dropped the car off before work (8am) to ensure that my car was ready for a trip to St. Louis after work. I came back at 4:30pm and they had not started working on it. After explaining the situation they rushed through an oil change and I went away without an alignment. I brought my car in to service a part that was still under warranty. When checking the part they noticed something else needed to be repaired. I was charged for repairing the newly discovered broken part (which was the acceptable part). Then I was charged for several other unrelated inspection fees. When I questioned the charges, I was told that these were all necessary for repairing my car. After much discussion, the service attendant yelled at me saying, he would not remove the charges. I ended up contacting the company later but it made for a terrible customer service experience. I should have learned my lesson. Right now I am sitting in the waiting area at Firestone. I made an appointment online for an alignment and oil change for 11:30am. It is now 5:45pm and they just brought my car into the garage. Unfortunately, I need these services performed ASAP. Otherwise, I would go somewhere else. This will be the last time I have my car serviced here. I would not recommend the Homewood Firestone to anyone.

They were polite and got my uber/enterprise car tires upgraded and replaced for me. I would give 5 stars but as there were no other customers present I think it took way too long for a simple change of tires(well over an hour) . I was there quite a while. They did get me right in even though I didnt have an appointment. I will go back to this location as theyre certainly more competent than pep boys across the street!

Horrible experience. They take your money and do half the job. Needed an alignment but I needed my ball joints fixed (control arms) first, both were loose they did one and still did the alignment. When asked the manager for my money back they said no and said they would fix it. I dont need anyone fixing on my car for the second time if you were post to do it the first time. Poor service, never coming back.

I have been taking vehicles here for tires, some oil changes and alignments, for about 6 years. I can honestly say that I have not had one bad experience, and how often can you say that? I have appreciated that the price quoted is the price I usually dreaded, but this Firestone has been , for us, a breathe of fresh air. They have on two occasions gone above and beyond to meet my particular needs.

Worst customer service Ive ever had to experience....waiting at the front counter going on 10mins and no one has yet to come see what I needed. Fail to explain what it means for a tire to be a 3, 4 or 1 or whatever.

Great customer service and efficient service. Be sure to make an appointment, when you have an appointment the wait time is much shorter than just walking in!

Waiting area is comfortable.. and for a good reason.. They are extra slow 6 hours for an oil change and extra expensive.
