Always extremely slow, no matter if I come at 11am or 2pm. ONE employee at the desk today, helping someone with a passport application. I dont blame the poor souls getting their passport photos taken, but there cannot be one employee working when something like that is happening. The woman then asks if anyone was just dropping something off, which I was, and she grabbed the package to check the weight and laughed in my face that I estimated the weight to be 12oz. Im sorry, your website says I would just have to pay additional postage when dropping off, and I did my best to estimate. But you think laughing in a customers face is appropriate? Go elsewhere to drop off your packages. This is the most convenient for me but Ill take good service over convenience any day.

This place deserves 0 stars. Man clerks are good. The problem is they messed up a lot of times. I put express mail inside the building in the wall slot, and next day tracking shows they didnt get it yet. It suppose to be delivered tomorrow, and they even dont know where the package is. Why am I paying for express service? The women person on the phone told me you suppose to hand it to the clerk, hellooo why would I wait 15 minutes to hand it when I have mailboxes at least 3 inside the post office. The shipment was time sensitive and this is not the first time they mess up or else I would not bother to write this review.

The men behind the counter are nice and decent, but "large marge" is beyond miserable. She literally barks at you. "WHO did you get this package from", "WHO packaged it". Good Lord, it was a padded envelope that had a book in it! And the woman who runs the place is even more questionable. A man was sending something to New Mexico and she had to ask a subordinate if they shipped out of the country because she wasnt sure they shipped there?!?!?! New Mexico. Its part of the USA, last time I checked. OMG, miserable lot there for sure.

The service at the counter is a mixed bag. The male employees are fantastic and very helpful and kind. Unfortunately, the women who work at this post office counter always seem disgruntled and surly. I dread transactions with one of them because she does a hard sell and pushes all the extras on shipping even after I have explained I cannot afford the extras. (fast shipping, tracking, etc.) The lines can be really really long- although I do not think this is the fault of employees, just the sad state of affairs with USPS.

Definitely the worst postal service. My cell phone was sent overnight by my service provider and not only was there no attempt to deliver it to my house as it should have been (with signature) but they didnt even leave a notice. This is also odd since my parents work at home so obviously they didnt even bother to ring the doorbell ! I thought my service provider messed up --- only to find out it was all a Post Office issue! Then I had to stand in line for nearly an hour to get my package!

I spoke to a man this morning and he was very nice and helpful. I called back this afternoon for more help regarding my package that was suppose to be re delivered due to being late the first time they tried delivering, then they tried delivering on a Saturday when the business was closed. The lady who answered the phone the second time was extremely rude and slammed down the phone when she hung up. I am so glad I never have to deal with these people again.

Too bad someone else already said this is the worst mail service possible; thats exactly what I was going to say. My mail is delivered when I put it "on hold;" it is thrown on the ground behind my screen door when it is delivered; it often has someone elses name and/or address on it; and it is many times rain-soaked. Some days I get no mail at all. Does the post office HAVE to be this incompetent?

Says there was a notice left upon delivery no notice on the door. For the time that they said it was attemepted to be delivered my parents were home and they didnt hear the bell a nock or anything. Now Im going to have to go out of my way to pick it up why would I reschedule the delivery when you couldnt even do it the first time.

I wish that zero stars was an option for this place. Our mail carrier is absolutely HORRIBLE at her job. Even when we put our address, she ALWAYS delivers our packages to the wrong place!!! And when I try to correct her, she makes me look like I was the one who was wrong. TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS BETTER!!!!

Our family delivered vote by mail ballots inside the building Sunday Nov 6. They had Monday and Tuesday to get them post marked to be counted. My wifes ballot was postmarked on time. I discovered today that my daughters and my ballots were postmarked 5 days late and our votes cant be counted.

Lagrange Post office closes at 300 pm, doesnt accommodate the normal working hours customers. Maybe if it was an urban area and we all worked in town it would work. Not many jobs in Lagrange.
