I am a homeowner and Ive just recently had Baltic Home Improvements complete a complete tear-off and roof installation project on my home . I thought I would write a review of my experience , because it is well deserved and exactly how I found this company - by reading reviews and testimonials . We had a bad windstorm in our area , and I had some shingles that were damaged and blown away , so Darius from Baltic came out to do an inspection and estimate . I have a large ranch home with a very steep roof so I wasnt going up there . Darius came down with his camera and showed me pictures of the extensive damage he had found . An insurance claim had to be made . It was much worse than just a few shingles missing . So over the course of the next number of weeks , Darius worked diligently with my insurance companys adjusters , meeting them for inspections , sending estimates when needed , on time when he was called to action, he answered his phone or called right back , all the while being my advocate in the process with my insurance company . During this time , many other homes in my area had damage and claims as well . When it was time to get my project started , Darius from Baltic made suggestions to go with ridge vents throughout because they work better , and install new skylights , because they were ready to be changed . These were both at my cost , but it was the right thing to do . He and his crew showed up on time , both days , and completed the job without incident . They replaced a couple of bad sheets of plywood and added a sheet to a section of roof for better performance . If Darius had to step out , his Forman was informative and easy to work with . And after the huge job was completed - they didnt leave a mess . Very nice ! To be clear , my entire roof project was not covered by insurance . They would only cover the damaged sides . A new roof is expensive , yes , and Darius helped minimize my out-of-pocket expense as much as he could . My new roof is straight , smooth , professional looking , and beautiful . Im extremely happy I did my homework , read some Home Improvement Contractor reviews in my area , and found Baltic Home Improvements .

I had 2 situations where Baltic helped with my roofing needs. First was with my own house where I had an issue with a leak that I thought was coming in through a valley in my roof. Darius came and inspected and found the issue to be a problem with the flashing that the previous company who had installed my roof didnt do a proper job of installing. His price was reasonable and within 48 hours they came and fixed the issue and I no longer have a leak. I was so happy with their work that I recommended them to do the roof of my wifes 97 year old grandmothers house. She also had an issue with a previous roofer who kept stalling to do the work on her house. Darius came and provided a reasonable quote on a new roof. They came out and within a day did the replacement and fixing any problem boards on the roof itself. The work was done in a day and they did a great job of cleaning up and explaining everything that they were doing for her. She was very happy with their service and politeness and professionalism. I will recommend Darius and Baltic to anyone who is in need of a new roof or just even a roof repair. 5 Stars!

My house suffered hail damage from several storms that had passed through the plainfield area this summer. I work for the Lemont Fire Protection. There a buddy of mine suggested that i should give Darius a call whom owns Baltic Construction. They raved about what a great job they did on their home. For me that good enough. I called Baltic and the service was fantastic. My house was taken care of and everything was handled by Baltic Home Improvement. All i had to do was watch them work and sign on the dotted line. My neighbors all statedthat the roof look great as it should i was upgraded to better tiles than i had and it looks great. I do think some of my neighbors also contacted Baltic. Great experience right from the start! Our home suffered significant hail damage from a storm at the end of February. Kyle from Baltic Exteriors inspected our roof and assessed the damage and we filed a claim. They worked together with our insurance company and made sure everything was done right. We had a new roof installed as well as facia, gutters, downspouts, vents and even a new skylight. The crews that did the work did an outstanding job! Quality work and attention to detail all the way. Darius, the owner of the company even took the time when the work was completed to come out to our house and inspect the work himself and meet with us to make sure we were happy. Our home wasnt just repaired, it was improved!

BALTIC DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON MY ROOF. The work was done very professionally and on schedule. The workers cleaned up all of the roofing materials, nails, etc. so their was no need for me to clean up my yard. What was really impressive was how Baltic measured my roof so there was no wasted material or unnecessary costs. All of the workers were friendly and courteous. This was a big job because my roof is over 3500 square feet, and yet they did the job in less than two days.I never had to worry that a storm would damage my property in the middle of the project. If I could I wouldnt give them any stars. My association hired them to do the roof. They damaged 3 screens and a sliding door screen. They then took only 2 screens to fix, didnt even tell me they were doing it. I had the window open and I have children. Darius then said the damage wasnt from them. Basically calling me a lier. I would never use this company or would refer them to anyone. I have damage and I didnt even hire them. Not to mention I still have scraps on my deck still from the room. I guess since I didnt hire them or pay them they dont care, they just want to get the job done even if they ruin your property.

We worked with Baltic Home Improvements to replace our patio door this summer. The owner, Darius, helped us to choose the door that best fit our needs and thoroughly answered all the questions. The installation was very professional. The crew cleaned everything up and disposed our old door. At the end, the owner personally reached out to us to make sure we are satisfied. Weve experienced winter season with our new patio door and it is great. We recommend Baltic Home Improvements to anyone who is looking for professionalism, quality work, and products.
